OK once again Abbey I sincerely apologise for mentioning Manchester United on a thread about the Premier League. I know mentioning United a couple of times a week is extremely distressing for you. I've also mentioned Aston Villa a lot too are you offended by that? If so I once again offer my sincerest apologies.

Oh by the way I know I post a lot (too much apparently despite it supposedly being a forum) but could you answer me a question? What are you trying to say here? I can't quite get your point.

Ribble I know the following is the epitome of scintillating analysis and debate. Therefore I post it as an apology and an example of what the ideal BRFCS poster should offer the forum.

...and people called me obsessed with the Walker family and trustees. At least most of the board back Abbey with his frustrations.

You really need to get a life, what do you do for a living???

Was there any need for all that ?

Your previous popularity level is well on it's way to being restored, give it a break eh ?

I think Vinjay needs another break. 4 years ought to be enough.

Seriously though Vinjay, you are becoming 'that poster' again.

And you need to apologise to Abbey for more than your Man Utd comments. I can only assume he didn't see it.

Its taken Steve McManaman 6 minutes to criticize the City support for not being 'Liverpool like' on European nights, what the fook is Liverpool like? getting nowhere near the champions league quarters season after season?

No fan of City, but the Liverpool lovin makes me sick at times.

Canny lot Liverpool fans, go to town for 'Big European Nights' when the spotlight is on them, get all the plaudits and then sit on their hands for most league matches.

I'll never forget going in the late 80's for the replay after the Atkins own goal, I'd been in 81ish but didn't have an appreciation of the day as I was a bit young.

My dad said late 80's "The hairs on the back of your neck will stand on end tonight when you hear the kop"

Biggest anti-climax ever, hardly heard them after the rendition of You'll never walk alone, very poor.

Ignore him, he's trying to wind you up and get you banned, its 3 threads now.

I'll only say this once. He berated me. For no reason at all. I didn't do anything to him. I'm sorry making references that Jack would have cared more about a FA Cup QF upsets you. You might be better off hating someone like Howard Walker who probably didn't give a toss when his Dad died. After all he didn't mind openly badmouthing the club only 2 months after he was lapping up applause with the rest of that family.

I don't know what you got up to bullying in the playground but this stops now. No more long winded explanations, no more responses to personal insults. No more defending myself with my personal issues even if people want to just make personal assumptions about me. From now on neither of you exist.

Can't say I've ever particularly noticed their atmosphere on European nights to be honest.

It's a myth! It probably has been a decent atmosphere in certain games (I.e the one vs Olympiakos a few years back), but even when they came to Ewood in large numbers I never found them to be the loudest support. Whatever people might think of Man United though, IMO they were always consistently the loudest....

Our of interest, anyone know why there is a Premier League match AND an FA Cup tie on the same night as a Champions League game? Clashes can be arranged when it suits?

Rules made up as they go along. Remember last season when we weren't allowed to play Liverpool in the Cup QF because of a clash with the Champions League?

Same thing happened a few weeks ago when Arsenal went to Hull on the same night as European football for their Cup replay.

Oh aye, he definitely deserved some time, no question. I suppose the point I was making is that the teaching assistant committed the offence far more frequently than Johnson yet got no jail time, they've obviously made an example of Johnson with a trial by media. Painfully inconsistent.

There's a flagrant double standard when it comes to this kinda thing.

When an older woman seduces an underage boy, she reaches 'cougar' status.

When a grown man does it with a girl, he's Jimmy Savile.
