Ridiculously harsh penalty, the Norwich defender got the ball first and his momentum carried his foot over the ball.

Will be a travesty if Sunderland stay up on the basis of that decision.

Well, Sunderland just scored again so it won't be.

Making Aguero captain of my fantasy team this week is looking a very good decision.

Watched Norwich v Sunderland. Whilst Sunderland are poor, Allardyce had them perfectly organised and motivated.

Norwich are simply not Premier League class.

A few posters on here might have wet themselves too early this week at the prospect of Big Sam being relegated.

The last thing we need is BFS in the championship next season

Whilst Leicester may take our record as the most improbable title winners Chelsea are taking our record for the worst title defence

Fuchs: Leicester are like Asterix

16 April 2016

Christian Fuchs has compared the feats of Leicester City to French comic heroes Asterix and Obelix.

In the comics, ancient Gauls Asterix and Obelix would fight against the Roman Empire to defend their village from occupation, and Fuchs says Leicester are doing similar things this season.

Fuchs' side are top of the Premier League table with five games to play, seven points clear of Tottenham, and the Austria international says their success comes from ignoring what is happening outside of their own "little cottage".

Norwich will definitely end up down imo. It's just a question of whether Sunderland or Newcastle come with them.

50/50 on the dive by Vardy but you can guarantee that a ref would never have given a second yellow to Rooney in a similar situation.

I must admit it did look like he caught his leg whilst running at pace.

Is this the day when the 'Premier League refs' finally turn on Leicester? Enough is enough!

But you do wonder if Spurs and Whum fans write for the BBC:

"We've got ourselves a big twist in this tale. Jamie Vardy is sent off for a second yellow card, given to him for diving. It was as well. He runs into the box, holds his run a tad and then theatrically launches himself to the ground under pressure from Angelo Ogbonna."

Looked 90% pen rather than theatrics.

Was thinking exactly the same thing. How often do you see those types of things go unpunished anyway? The refs either need to be consistent with booking for diving or not bother at all. As it stands they punish some and not others.

Looks like it. Absolutely ridiculous although to be fair I was expecting them to have been shafted by the referees long before now.

As Stuart says, that is never happening to a so called "big club" in a million years.

At first I thought he'd gone down easy but there was obviously some contact. On the replay there is an accidental clash of legs.

In situations like that the ref can just wave play on. Giving a booking (or sending off in this case) when there is obviously some contact is asking for trouble if you are a ref.

No rescinding as well which is a double frustration for Leicester. In fact, he will probably get a couple of extra games ban for pointing his finger towards the refs face.

And it just had to be Leicester's main striker.

I had gone to the small room and missed it live but heard commentators refer to WHU playing against 10 and immediately thought ''It's Vardy for sure'' low and behold the crooks didn't disappoint.

Based on Video evidence I'm sure Leicester will appeal and win and the dick in the middle will be reffing L2

Made me angrier than Rovers losing and playing crap yesterday

This is exactly the problem. Consistency from match to match. Fine, if that's a yellow card for going down in the box and not getting a penalty then it needs to always be a yellow card.

The subjectivity of referees have far too much say in football matches. They are there to apply the laws of the game, nothing more, nothing less.

Yellow cards cannot be appealed except in the case of mistaken identity.
