This is exactly the problem. Consistency from match to match. Fine, if that's a yellow card for going down in the box and not getting a penalty then it needs to always be a yellow card.

The subjectivity of referees have far too much say in football matches. They are there to apply the laws of the game, nothing more, nothing less.

Yellow cards cannot be appealed except in the case of mistaken identity.

Can't the sending off be appealed?

No, I think Stuart's right and they just have to accept it.

Penalty to West Ham. It probably is but you get 10 of them a game.

This ref wants to be famous. 1-1

Penalty awarded and scored now just to rub salt in the wound.

Think Sky must have had a word in the ref's shell like. The "race for the title" was looking dangerously like turning into a damp squib.

Unreal. The West Ham player stuck his leg out to get the contact moreso than Vardy.

This referee is either a dud or a cheat.

Media darlings Spurs are going to be handed the title on a plate.

1-2. Absolute farce.

Really really hope Spurs lose tomorrow now.

What's the odds on another strange refereeing display?

Edit: Huth just got grabbed round the neck in the area and the referee ignored that one.

@#/? get in!!

Ref probably didn't dare give anything else at the end there. Maybe just a dud after all.

Commentator Alan Smith saying it was a generous penalty when Carroll just bulldozed the player, yet the stonewall one a few minutes ago was "it's hard to know what is a penalty and what isn't"

Very poor referee. He'll probably end up reffing our next match.

Nah much better to make up a load of conspiracy nonsense instead.

Didn't see the WHU goals but caught penalty decision at the end. Ridiculous decision.

If you only saw the last 30 seconds of a game, probably best not to comment on it really.

No Man City games you could be off watching?

There's definite contact on Vardy although he does go down a bit dramatic.

For the West Ham penalty, the defender is definitely holding the attacking player so it's a penalty. However holding the player doesn't make him fall to the floor. He could stop on his feet if he wanted to as he is being held backwards but he falls to the floor in order to make sure the ref gives a penalty.

Vardy gets booked . The West Ham player gets his penalty.

If you give the West Ham penalty, (probably correctly) you've got to give the one on Huth as well.

The Vardy sending off is ridiculous. It's extremely debatable whether or not it's a foul in his favour imo. To book him for diving is scandalous, if you're not sure wave play on, and it would have been unbelievably harsh to issue a caution even if he wasn't already on a yellow.

Despite his broken English I could listen to Claudio Ranieri all day.

Brilliantly handled Geoff Shreeves in the post-match interview.

Really hope he wins it. It'll be against all the odds - including the establishment.

Referees have a hard enough job as it is (well I did call it a ridiculous decision so that's kind of critical) and you're accusing a guy you don't even know of being a cheat.

How many bad refereeing performances have Leicester had in total this season? Bet they have had more decisions in their favor and "technology" is hardly to assist the "establishment" whatever that is.

Don't need hidden conspiracies anyway. FUP is right in our faces courtesy of certain...and I guess "establishment" clubs.

I don't know how the hell Ranieri has managed this (well IF he manages it) but I'm not calling him or Leicester cheats without basis either.
