O'Sullivan has confirmed he has joined Rochdale on loan until January.

It's a strange one. He has only just signed a new 12 month deal and we send him out on loan. However at best he is a stocking filler and in reality wouldn't have challenged for a first team place.

Nixon seems to take more of an interest when we have a Scottish manager, whether he's got a contact is another thing. He's got a vivid imagination, thats for sure.

Create an extra space for an incoming maybe, plus opportunity for a few games for O'Sullivan.

Or am I reading far too much into it?

O'Sullivan is not included in the 24 we are allowed to keep in the squad. So it's only about give some game time for him which should have been done way earlier.

Apologies if this has been mentioned but this is Paul Wheelock in today LET -" Doneil Henry has returned to the club and, as the clock ticks closer to the closure of the emergency loan window, you would not bet against him being joined by another new boy come 5pm this evening."

Although I don't expect another incoming there a few names being branded about at the minute ..

One was Liam bridcutt but he's gone to Leeds

Another is Kyle lafferty ..and one was Kozack

Lafferty is a dingle, so don't want him anywhere near. We've enough of a problem with Duffy and Delfouneso in the squad having worn the Claret shirt. Besides, I'm fairly sure Norwich said last week they weren't going to be loaning him out.

I don't want him - he has done very little for a long time bar some inspired recent Northern Ireland performances.

ah just seen he has signed till the end of the season so there probably was a loan fee

January is the time to do the business anyway, give PL a bit of time to asses the squad
