LDRover Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 My son's game has been called off tomorrow so I'm now free to watch Rovers ruin my weekend
G Somerset Rover Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We're only one down after 13 minutes.
Backroom DE. Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 My son's game has been called off tomorrow so I'm now free to watch Rovers ruin my weekend And they did!
Iceman Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 2-0 now. Have the happy ones converted now to the angry ones?
G Somerset Rover Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We'll receive some positives this afternoon in the form of a post match presser from Gaz and a tweet from the colossus that is Shane Duffy: 'Not the result we deserved but onto QPR we go! #3points #promotion #cleansheetswillcome'
LDRover Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 A friend of mine has a few quid on us to go down at 7-1.
1arC Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 A friend of mine has a few quid on us to go down at 7-1. Paddy Power have just paid out!
Backroom DE. Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 Keane in DE? I'm at such a low point that I'd take it at this juncture.
Husky Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Pretty decent effort today - We managed to stay above Huddersfield.
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Koite looks alright. A bit "raw", but one of those players who at least gets involved with the play, even if they are a bit wasteful.
Hasta Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Tough game in midweek but fortunately the two teams below us are also away at top half opposition. Should keep us from falling any further at least. Plus Preston play Bristol City so both of the can't win. #desperation
tomphil Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Jordan Rhodes has to decide to score soon? He will do but it can't keep resting on him, he and Rudy constantly dug us out of holes last season in games like today. It was never going to continue after losing Gestede without others stepping up to the plate and there's never been any sign of that under Bowyer.
arbitro Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I reckon the first Championship manager to get sacked will be Chris Powell at Huddersfield.
Guest Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Operation "24th October" continues to go well, giving the six-fingered Freddies a false sense of security well ahead of schedule. Complacency will certainly kick-in in their camp, where they'll totally capitulate and we'll get our sweetest ever first win of the season.
Friarsnig Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Even if QPR give us a right tonking, we can't go bottom tomorrow night. Things aren't that bad, see?
Husky Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Charlton are crap so there's a home banker coming up on Saturday
wolfie Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 HT; QPR 0-1 Rovers Out of the bottom 3, above knobbers on goal difference.
Husky Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 1 point closer to the play-offs than yesterday.
onlyonejackwalker Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Two more away goals. Duffy with a screamer;). I've been hard on Rhodes, but credit were it's due. Top goal. After all the talk, notches again, two in two.
joey_big_nose Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Two more away goals. Duffy with a screamer;). I've been hard on Rhodes, but credit were it's due. Top goal. After all the talk, notches again, two in two. Id say Rhodes' alround game has been the best we've seen from him. I've given him stick for being a poacher and little else but he has shown strength, great movement, quality passing and intelligence. He just needs to get his shot to goal ratio up to his previously outstanding levels. Koita really suits him as a partner, as does the midfield pushing right up to give him the quality through balls and crosses he thrives off.
