Missed some good chances, should have won really all told.

Can't comment on Bolton penalty appeals, need to see a replay.

Guthrie needs to play, thought Evans was much better tonight.

6 games played this season that's 540 minutes of football - not for a single minute have we been in front.

It's all well and good throwing the kitchen sink at it towards the end week on week but it doesn't hide the fact that it's simply not good enough.

The sole positive is the back two look a lot more solid this season.

I'd say we had one really clear chance - so did they, they had more of the ball and a decent penalty shout.

I can only recall either keeper making one save and a last ditch block after Rayas dodgy hands.

Some immediate observations:

- Bowyer sent out a team to get a 0-0

- I honestly think that Bowyer sees the team that started tonight as his best XI

- We threw the kitchen sink at it from the 70th minute rather than the 80th so that's progress

- Duffy got MoM because of that clearance, Conway was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch

- Bolton are awful and must be amongst the favourites to go down

- We are unlikely to play a worse team this season but still can't beat them

- Our immediate future is utterly dependent on who replaces Bowyer and how quickly

- Relegation is a very real possibility

Nailed my thoughts exactly - we were the better team, but couldn't score. Another two points dropped. Conway best player on the park. Just to add Lowe was awful. Don't like to diss players, but he really added nothing tonight. I was there too! Attendance a fantasy!

To the people that think he will get sacked because we didn't win

Bowyer was laughing near the end and looked so relaxed ...he's going no where any time soon

Any other manger wouldn't accept a draw at home to a team worse then us or wouldn't even think of laughing and smiling towards the end of a mediocre performance...Lennon was ripping into his team and wanted so much more ...bowyer was just laughing away and happy with a 0-0

Paul Robinson said that - knowing Bowyer - he would be happy with a draw, but would have preferred a win.

And therein lies the problem. No manager with any ambition would have been happy with a draw tonight.

The only positive for me tonight was Duffy doing Boreyers job and publicly rebuking the woeful Lowe for another piece of abject play. From afar it looked like Lowe was shocked that anybody could challenge him. It almost reminded me of a teacher's pet who is pretty much untouchable.

Once again though we haven't won and already are well behind some teams. Over the next few weeks I predict we will fall further behind and remain amongst the dead men for the rest of the season. That is why the Indians must act now and get shut of him. If they have a man on the ground he is failing massively if he is not feeding the truth back to his masters.

Surely as near to guaranteed money as you could get betting on 0-0 tonight. Predictably dismal stuff.

Random thoughts: Lowe's an absolute liability in midfield, like playing with 10 men but that's nothing that hasn't been apparent from watching him for the last couple of seasons.

Conversely I thought the also much maligned Evans had a decent game tonight but got taken off. Not

sure how that works.

Thought the also much maligned Spurr had a decent game and produced our only 2 on target efforts.

Delfouneso, what an a absolute pudding. Barely any better than Brown. How did we manage to sign him after seeing how bad he is first hand on an extended trial?

Koita, bad miss but once again lively and makes things happen. How on earth is he starting behind the inept Delfouneso?

Marshall, someone get Brighton back on the phone and drive him down there.

Barrow, what's the point in loaning a Premiership player for 3 months and not playing him?

Overall no pattern or discernible game plan. Situation unchanged, the manager surely has to go.

Absolute rubbish, not sure what else to say really.

Someone said the second half was the best he's seen this season, if that's true we really are in the sh1t people.

Time to get Venkys out? Or at least try to get them out?

Adding to what I've said before, Evans was far better than Lowe, Koita was a handful, Delf doesn't really add anything, and you can see why he's a Blackpool reject.

Comes down to the manager imo

Evans is just as bad as Lowe mate. Koita? One of the worst footballers I've seen, his touch is Absolutely ridiculous!

A bloke behind me said "Steve Kean was a tactical genius compared to Bowyer"

I nearly ridiculed him, but I thought "maybe he's right?"

.

You should have ridiculed him, people have short memories....
