This.

Bloke at work said he would take 4th from bottom a few weeks ago..I couldn't believe my ears, baulked and shook my head in disbelief at his suggestion.

This is what we have been reduced to,expectations and standards have gone through the floor.

This! This is what I'm on about Theno!

If Judan Ali gets appointed, there's absolutely nothing anyone could've done about it. That's down to the owners, nobody else. Or does the possibility that the owners might employ someone worse mean that we must not criticise Bowyer?

If we're in the bottom three at Christmas, I'd say we've had it.

We've had a bad start, I'm not getting a sense that things will suddenly pick up, sad to say.

Get this team to mid table safety. If at Christmas we are in the bottom 3 then I would agree he has to go.

We are potentially close to a situation whereby Judan Ali is our manager, think about that.

He didn't play King. He didn't play Dunn. Cairney and Gestede were both left out of many games lasts season. The team is not significantly worse than the one that started many games last year. However performances and results are dire.

He has primarily created this situation. He is relying on people like you to believe and roll out his excuses.

If we got judas Ali, we may end up as a poor team who can't score and is in the relegation zone. Well guess what. We are anyway.

How would you deal with it Theno when our much maligned so-called owners give the impression they don't give a damn anymore.A manager who is not up to the job,a silent and ineffective Board and Chairman, all culpable to the on going malaise at clusterfcuk BRFC 2015.

The situation is going to get much worse I fear.I made the conscious decision to limit my financial support of Rovers while the idiots run the club into the ground..nothing has changed.

The only way I feel I can personally deal with the situation.

I just cannot get past the owners. Under them we will never ever get promoted. They have destroyed everything they have touched and we would be a Division lower now had Bowyer not stabilised us. Now he is far from the best manager out there but every decision that the owners have made has been poor.

It's a case of stay in the highest division we can whilst the Raos are still in charge and then start again when they leave.

How much have PNE spent on transfers in the last couple of years (£0) and they have moulded together a decent competitive team.

Now then. What have Preston got that we haven't...?

I'm racking my brain here...

Pure scaremongering. There is nothing to suggest we're close to that.

If anything we're more likely to end up with Craig Short or Eric Kinder as manager.

That was the point I was making, they could appoint anyone. Odds are it's from within as it's cheap.

I saw him walk down the tunnel.

I saw that too... Just a minute or two after coming off.

I thought he must have been feeling a little knock on his legs or something...

Could be something in this conspiracy!

Recorded the game on sky (I always do so I can watch it again) and after watching the match from the perspective of sky I think we were poor.

We didn't do anything too bad but we didn't do anything good either. I suppose some positives would be Raya keeping a clean sheet (albeit with the help of Duffy) and having Rhodes back in the side.

It was a full bloodied match with potential for a sending off. I think Hanley should have walked for his challenge on Silva but I am glad he didn't and I am glad he challenged the little weasel like that!

Silva'a kick out at Henley was disgusting but a yellow card was correct.

And lastly... Is holloway after the Burnley job? How many times did he talk about that bunch on air!?!

He walked down the tunnel before the end of the game that's for sure I saw that from my seat in the riverside. The snub was very clear too!

Yep that was obvious although don't know who was snubbing who. Bowyer is normally all over the player he has taken off sometimes making an over the top fuss of them. Not last night with Marshall who's been pretty useless this season played out of position again. Last night I didn't think he was as bad as he has been, not good but when he's on the wing attacking the BBE you always think he might come up with something.

There's a difference between appointing from within and appointing Judan Ali.

Honestly, not convinced Short or Kinder could do a worse job than Bowyer. What could they do worse tactically? Perhaps they'd have favourites that are more talented than HanLowe?

Not advocating for one second that we appoint from within, but I doubt it would be armageddon if Bowyer left.

Putting the effort in should be a given. I hate it when managers say 'the players gave everything'

like this is something exceptional. Boreyer talked about effort and commitment in his post match interview.

I agree, it's like in my job, if my head teacher said Mr Farrimond put in a great shift this year, he has been planning well at home and throughout the weeks he has looked good and sharp... Shame the children didn't achieve and he'll be disappointed but now he has to put it behind him and think next year!

Nonsense... I'd be getting a bloody disciplinary!

But would we be worse. I'd swap Bowyer for Short this morning if that was the only option available.

When you genuinely believe he's going to take us down in the next 2 seasons, what is there to lose?

He has spent more money than a lot of teams in this league

That's simply not true

The only problem with Short is he will obviously have a big say on things currently. If we get a new manager I would prefer a fresh start.

if he doesnt get the service he needs then you feel he should be criticised?

Every striker could say that. Also yesterday he did have some decent service. Lots of good balls into the box, and he missed hitting the target with a relatively simple header. If he isn't going to do the spade work and actually make things happen then he has to take virtually every chance that comes his way. By his standards he is having a lean spell there is no question about that and when JR isn't scoring we are effectively down to 10 men. With delfouneso and koite looking lively he has to watch out for his place, GB has to pick his two best form strikers which he hasn't done in the past for whatever reason :glare: Also has Marshall with Lawrence and Conway for me in current pole position.

Lowe obviously is in your eyes because your summary of the game, whilst generally spot on, fails to mention that he was absolutely abysmal again.

He wasn't good and he wasn't poor. Average energetic performance sprinkled with a few good things and a few bad ones. The ones I chose to mention were stand out poor.

ha ha Delfons......anyone can look lively but the guy is utter garbage he did one good thing last night turned his man then with 2 players in open space to his left hit the ball closer to the corner flag...

Koite is lively but is still dining out on that fantastic goal in Monaco check his record ....he's like an old fashioned type division four player hits the ball and chases it at pelt no skill or ball control whatsoever

What a very very poor display of Championship level football that was to put before a worldwide audience. I can imagine that if you were not a fan of either club then the TV remote came into play very quickly. No bloody wonder Sky have been usually keeping their cameras away from Ewood.

It was just hoof-ball interspersed with throw-ball, mind numbingly boring. How many minutes per game is Raya deliberately wasting doing at least 3 tee ups before hoofing as far as he can - obviously told to do that but just s-hit.

The Bowyer for Lowe infatuation is still a mystery and I do hope that the 'couple' are supervised and not left alone in the dressing room.
