[Archived] Bowyer Most Likely Not Sacked

Recommended Posts

What reasons would you not pick Dunn if he was fit enough to play?

There is no inference on my part, I am absolutely certain he wasn't picked or played for non-footballing reasons.

We're in danger of going round in circles here. My view is that he WASN'T fit to play. A fit Dunn ( a few years' younger) would obviously have walked into the team.

How can you be certain he wasn't picked for non footballing reasons? What single shred of evidence do you have for that certainty? It is simply your opinion.

You don't ACTUALLY post anything other than a titbit .

Haha. Again, completely inaccurate...do you mean the "titbit" when I said Scott Dann had been told he could go in the next window out of the blue? Which he did...the "titbit" I mentioned about Leon Bests career being over at Rovers 2 weeks into Gaz's tenure? The "titbit" long before the media that he would go after lads he Knew before he promptly signed Judge, Marrow and Taylor? Or perhaps it was the "titbit" that the management have been willing to let Rhodes go for £10-12m for 18 months which I was hammered for and is now widely accepted since the media found out..

Did I or did I not state that I expected them to sell Gestede and play 451 at the end of last season?

Ask Chaddy what I told him of the rumours of Gaz's supposed sacking yesterday? And then refer yourself to this mornings LT article..

Amazing how I keep getting lucky...sorry mate, if you don't have the brains to look behind the words...that's your problem.

That alledged connection does not allow you free reign to besmeerch a respected ex Rovers good name without any evidence. Otherwise it's just IYO

I haven't "besmirched" anyone...I've said that he wasn't "cowardly" frozen out and that there were other reasons. As I've said before, Dunny is a friend of a friend and a Rovers legend.

Who cares about that or them even? tbh I doubt the Glasers would impress all that many, how about the Russian? How bored does he always appear? Would you buy a second hand car off him gav? Your post is irrelevant nonsense written simply as a mud slinging exercise and nothing more, move on.

It wasn't quite irrelevant nonsense, it was rather informative as to the who the hell were the official Rovers representatives in the room on Saturday, was Shaw actually with the party, anyone capable of instigating a sacking?

Any of your Venky mates popped over etc etc.

It also showed to be a sarcastic arse also, but I'm sure everyone knew that anyway.

Misty eyed over souness ?

Let's see ,he's one of two managers ( 3 if full members counts ) in my lifetime that has won major silverware at Ewood .

How many trophies did Sam bring?

As far as I can see Souness cannot manage without lots of money to spend in weak leagues whilst Sam consistently performs at his best without any, and we have no money. From that link...... pretty accurate too.

1 Graeme Souness

As a player, his name struck fear into opponents. As a manager, he has been more terrifying for his own clubs. Nearly two decades of sackings and disappointment after his success at Rangers, Souness, remarkably, still rates himself as one of the big guns. He spent nearly £50m on a relegation battle at Newcastle, and told Deco he wasn't going to cut it at Benfica - replacing him with Sheffield Wednesday's Mark Pembridge - but it's at Liverpool where the wrecking ball did most damage. Britain's most successful club are still recovering today. Souness doesn't so much lose the dressing room as rarely find it to start with.

Must be a great marketing tool being a business man and Rovers MD. What better way than to try and swing a shelving deal with some clients deep daan saarf. A corporate day at the impressive Amex, the only catch is you might have to watch a bit of football as well.

"Who are they playing then Derek?"

"Oh just one of them northern teams who's name starts with a B, you might recognise the kit if not the players"

"Right you are then Deggsy, I trust it's an all expenses job"

"But of course, they.. er.. I mean us are very generous"

So Mani time to spill on Dunn or leave it? Because without it yours is just another opinion. Dunn is your mate but you'd rather keep the carrot dangling that he's the baddun....

Haha good try but there's no gossip mate. Dunny wants to play games at the end of his career and Gaz didn't offer him a new contract...sure Dunny was unhappy..he said as much in the media. But there was nothing underhand or cowardly about it...

Tbf Dunny doesn't come cheap either...in salary or appearance bonus'.
