[Archived] Bowyer Most Likely Not Sacked

He may be trusted and have a good reputation for all we know.

I'd prefer having and intermediary, than GB and Shaw having a direct line to India, to cover-up their own failings.

True but if things follow the usual pattern here he might spot his opportunity. Also does anyone really tell Venkys anything other than what they want to hear, harsh truths would see them off the payroll a bit quick.

I take your points. If things continue to slide, without any changes made, that will answer whether he's affecting things. :)

Wrong initials

How so?

I thought I had heard a few mentions in last few weeks of people saying SS - but no, not that SS.

Don't get me wrong, my thing is just a total stab in the dark, but what initials do you think it is?

Sounds about right. Sounds like another opportunist as well.

Well he'll be in the right place at the right time

Why keep it a secret? That is only going to make people feel like it is something dodgy (again).

Supports have been pleading for the owners to bring in some help to run the club.

Unless of course it another clueless muppet like Shebby Singh.

Good find.

I'm going to take Mr Singh as being a positive at the moment. In an ideal world, he's reporting truths back to India (about GB and the conduct of our directors etc..) and also the mood of the fans.

If we have anymore important fan polls, he'll probably be the man to forward them onto.

Hope no groups latch onto him,and try to influence, as previously happened with Shebby, and also that he's strong of character, to avoid manipulation by those 'incharge' at Ewood and beyond.

I couldn't agree more with your last paragraph

He needs to go, but his absolute arrogance in regards to the rumours of his sacking suggests to me he feels very safe.

Laughed the rumours off with a grin like a Cheshire Cat on Sky...I ain't going nowhere folks!!

Just waiting for a win to announce Mrs D has given him a 24 Transfer window contract

A 'coach' becoming more arrogant with each passing poor performance, a 'team' bereft of any game-plan, strange team selections, an increasingly frustrated and alienated fan-base, owners not listening, Sky defending the coach from those 'greedy, spoilt' fans, no idea where the next goal is coming from, never mind next win. I'm sure this rings a bell....

And for the record, Saint Gary is definitely on a wind-up in these interviews.

I know these comparisons cause hysterical screaming in certain sections, but I was chillingly reminded of Steve Kean by Bowyer's demeanor tonight. He came off as a man who felt he was untouchable and if true that is an extremely worrying position for the club to be in again.

It's never healthy to have a manager who isn't under pressure to win football matches.

It's also unheard of outside of Blackburn.

Absolutely, becoming rather cold and calculated in his matter to boot.
