Are we really debating who talks more @#/? - Mercer or Chaddy? Flip a coin, either or!

Not quite, I'm just explaining that no matter what you think of a particular poster, it's better to be respectful on the mb. If it must get dicky and stupid, take it to PM.

Really does look like Gary won't be sacked anytime soon. Nothing leaking from Pune and it is very much business as usual out there, if a big decision was about to be made it would have leaked, so unless they have finally managed to keep their decision making secret then I fully expect Gary to be incharge for the Fulham game.

Nothing we didn't expect ...His whole attitude was relaxed and having laughs at the end of the Bolton game

He's safe for a while

Difference is chaddy plays the ball not the man (usually) until people jump down his throat.

That's not being sucked in, that's what posters seem to actually do. I'd argue the same with TJ but he has a habit of replying in kind and also playing the man.

Eg (Apologies Mercedes, but it's the only example that springs to mind):

When Mercerman chose to call me a retard (which he graciously apologised for almost immediately), I played the ball ('I'm actually deaf, wrong disability') rather than have a go at HIM. As a result I don't think we've crossed swords since. I think he over does the ITK stuff and I tease him when it's wrong but I like to think we respect each other as posters, as it should be.

With respect, please keep my name out of these kinds of posts(especially as i wasn't even part of the discusion) thanks.

The way it's going this season I could see us possibly only taking a point from the next four games. Better be some sort of reaction otherwise the situation will become critical.

I fear we're now essentially in another Kean scenario, and Bowyer won't be potted regardless of results.

Not surprising though is it given their track record with Kean, who I think would still be here had Shebby not pushed him to the brink. So friggin sick of this lot. If they want their money back we have to get back to the Prem. To get back to the prem we have to have a proper manager. Idiots continue to step over dollars to pick up nickels. I despise em.

Mr Bowyer needs to have a right good go at looking at himself in the mirror. Needs to be terrific in self evaluating himself on his ability to put out a winning product. I might even gain a little respect if he ws magnificent and made a coaching change, bring in someone savvy enough to help cover his deficiences. If he loves the club as much as some claim then he would do something to stop the rot.

http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/gary-bowyer-blackburn-rovers-2658600.aspx?

Has Bowyer admitted to it being a poor start yet? Huge contrast between his recent comments and those of Clement for example, who has come out saying their start has been disappointing.

I'm not sure whether Bowyer is in denial or simply oblivious.

It's amusing how he always brings up the Saturday-Tuesday thing... he does realise every other team has to do this as well? I honestly have no idea why he keeps bringing it up as if it's relevant to anything.

But you didn't respond to the content of his post (which was literally quoting something Kamy said on twitter, without opinion).

You said something along the lines of 'you'll obviously be happy with this' yada yada ya.

A phrase Tom and I are keen on: Play the ball, not the man. Ie: the post content, not the poster.

All posts are inevitably taken in context with a posters previous views. It's called listening and aids general comprehension, consideration and understanding. It's how discussions normally evolve. We have two ears and one mouth and should use them in equal proportion.

Many have been hugely supportive of Bowyer. In spite of what I consider to be the obvious. Its not a huge leap, in fact its pretty clear, that Chaddy will be pleased that it's 'business as usual' for Bowyer. But only if you've been listening Mike.

Truth is its slowly becoming clearer to those that have been supportive of Bowyer, for no logical reason other than he's a good egg who makes a bit of profit on 2nd hand cars, that he's a bit lost in the role. Putting it midly.

Sadly, no-ones listening.

Sorry about the double post. Sent from my back garden with gloves on.

He's in self-preservation mode(or kean mode if you will) everything he says to the press now is mainly for the venkys (still)incredibly naive ears.

Edit

Eeeew! me and yoda just posted the same opinion at the same time. I feel queezy.

And so you should, you are temporarily at a new height for you and out of your comfort zone

;)

we both support the Rovers though

So in listening you would also know that chaddy regularly posts updates and news he finds, whether he agrees or not.

Yes chaddy is generally supportive of the establishment but people continually pulling him up on it is getting tedious. Particularly when it's a post that invites no such response that criticises him.

TBH...

I cant believe he has not resigned yet, he took charge on three occasions was it? He (Gary) knows what bad spells do to a club and when managers are out of the depth, he saw enough in that position. If he was sacked his stock is damaged severely, by taking the resignation route now he could easily walk into a league one job in the near future, which leads me into thinking Venky's are pleased with him and this has been fed back to GB.

Make no mistake, i'm grateful to him and Terry Mac in stabilizing us but to be brutal they've served there purpose now and we are going backwards despite "Giving it a right good go".

Bloke needs to leave ASAP.

I think you need to think through that bit in bold again, Mike.

Chaddy doesn't need anyone's help and or to be patronised.

He's capable of articulating for himself.

This is a dull topic and unwarranted.

Let's get back to GB.

Has he been spotted at Manchester airport yet?
