Stuart Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 You'd have thought that if it wasn't true that Rovers could quash the rumours very easily. The longer it goes on with comment the more likely there is something in it. But hey, this is Venkys we are dealing with.

Athlete Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 They've not gone down this route in 4 attempts. Kean, Berg, Appleton & Bowyer all coaches promoted above their abilities. If he has gone, Short & Johnson will be the immediate front runners. Possibly Kinder too? Need a clean sweep someone to bring in their own management team... Then it will be back to bench warming for jlowe
Hasta Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 PARTY TIME BREAK OUT THE BOD CANS AND DOUBLE DIAMOND. I'll have a joyful glass if true. However it won't be like that night 3 years ago. There ain't no party like a KeanOut party.
imy9 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Birdy saying he has been sacked Who is he and how would he know this?
T J Hooker Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 They've not gone down this route in 4 attempts. Kean, Berg, Appleton & Bowyer all coaches promoted above their abilities. If he has gone, Short & Johnson will be the immediate front runners. Possibly Kinder too? the club was being run in a completely shabolic way during the time those 2 managers where appointed, our boardroom set up may not be great now but they do seem fairly competent and sensible these days(with agnew, singh and a few others gone)
Backroom Tom Posted August 22, 2015 Backroom Posted August 22, 2015 Starting to think this is heading to a Kean type false alarm (on a much lesser scale) @Jack_Gaughan: For what it's worth, those who can inform at Rovers say they've not been told Bowyer's been sacked.
Neal Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Let's remain calm and hang on to the party poppers just yet. I fear that a phone call and one more game against Bolton that ends up being a full season is coming. Bowyer Out.
roverandout Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I seem to remember everyone including me going into a frenzy when 'Kean was sacked' numerous times, once bitten, twice shy
Butty Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Does the embargo effect the amount we can pay a manager in terms of wages etc? Not confirmed yet but if this is the case, bowyer deserves a lot of respect for what he's done for us and I'm glad if this is true that he's left before it could have ended a lot worse in terms of fan abuse. No faith in venkys to make a good appointment, I don't know why but it wouldn't surprise me if they appointed someone like Alex Mcleish. Why his name sprung to mind I really don't know.

Backroom DE. Posted August 22, 2015 Backroom Posted August 22, 2015 Meanwhile Rovers.co.uk leads with a picture of Gary Bowyer titled "Groundhog Day".
ABBEY Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 been a strange 24 hours really, wondering if the reports of players being up late drinking last night followed by todays omission of 2 players because of sudden illness/more likely a hangover or punishment for being up late drinking) which has left the squad lacking in substitute, All incredibly unprofesional and i think the last thing venkys would stand for these days whilst they're trying to regain some sort of good reputation not saying it aint true but how do know if this is ACTUALLY FACTUALLY TRUE?
T J Hooker Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 haha, if he's not been sacked he'll soon be wishing he has been, as i've not seen one comment from anybody upset that he's gone
roverandout Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I'm not looking at this thread anymore because I know its bullshit, no way in hell will they sack him. He's too far up her big fat arse for it to happen
RockinRover Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 The question has to be asked is someone playing games at Ewood and trying to MAKE something happen?
BRFC1995 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 anyone with more than a few years experience, bigger personality than players ( not hard given the current shower), and never picks Lowe and i'm happy.
Hanks Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Birdy saying he has been sacked Doubt that Birdy will know any more than what is being said on this thread, he will be sat at the front of the ewood blues coach somewhere north of Birmingham.
ABBEY Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 please please please footballing gods who dish karma out please stick you fist on shaws head as well
Mr. E Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 If it's not true than we need to start flipping tables, this will cross all lines of decency and mockery.
ABBEY Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 how does birdy know this ? he knows the same as everyone else.
Dunnfc Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 1. Nigel Pearson 2. Paul Lambert 3. Tony Mowbray If we couldnt get Big Sam back (I'm dreaming)
OJRovers Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 The 'sudden illness' thing does seem a bit fishy.
Backroom Tom Posted August 22, 2015 Backroom Posted August 22, 2015 @PaulWheelock: I am led to believe that Gary Bowyer has not been sacked by #rovers.
