Oscar Garcia turned down the Barca sporting director job in January cos he wants his next job to be in club management as the Daily Mail is reporting.

Also on Karl Robinson, I feel we could attract Him due to our playing staff, Stadium and the great training and academy faclities we have our.

On Ainsworth, the job he has done there is an excellent. He hasnt had the resources that most league 2 clubs have and has them up challenging for promotion.

JHRover,

Ainsworth has been at Wycombe for 3 season. He was voted LMA league 2 manager of the year last season. He has turn Wycombe around as a club from relegation candiate into promotion candiate.

I think Nigel Pearson, Karl Robinson, Paul Lambert and Oscar Garcia would be 1st choices.

Sorry chaddy was trying to ignore you ,however , if you are loyal to bowyer as you say you are why put a list of names together . You would say bowyer for me and no list .

Not a chance of Robinson coming here whilst the Dons are in the same division as us.

Not necessarily true. KR is a scouser and may fancy a return up north. Also, Rovers still seen as a big job in that league. I don't think there'd be any trouble enticing a new manager, whether that be Pearson, Robinson or anyone else in that bracket.

Bolton getting Lennon is proof...

But we've got mad owners, a very poor reputation when carrying out transfer business and we don't treat managers right when we let them go, Berg case.

So we're nowhere near as attractive as we once were Mani

I could argue that over the last 2 years Bowyer has turned Rovers from relegation candidates to promotion candidates. However he hasn't achieved promotion, which seems to be the reason why people want him gone from here.

I think you'd struggle to convince anyone with that argument.

We have gone from relegation candidates, to midtable and back to relegation candidates.

And prospective managers' will take note that GB has been in the job permanently, for two and a quarter years and maybe think, it can't be that bad

a job.

They'll also think about the excellent facilities they would have at their disposal.

This is exactly crazy arse thing that Venky's are capable of doing as they have this misguided belief that they know best. But let's not panic just yet as he could have secured a position elsewhere.

Kamy - wasn't Ali linked with an English non league club a while ago? Could be his sights are aimed a bit lower than us.

As long as its not a management job then im not really sure what the big deal is,If its just a coaching role, then who's to say he's no good. A lot of young successful modern coaches dont have a professional footballers background.

You may be right Den, but which English non-league club would be holding discussions in India?!

Is that definitely his account? It only has about 900 followers whereas he used to have one with a few thousand.

That said, I doubt anybody would make a fake Shebby account.

Hopefully these tweets are nothing to do with Rovers.

Might sound like I've got to the point where I'll clutch at straws but maybe a British Indian mediator is what we need.

Before anyone asks, no I've not been drinking but if you don't laugh, you'll cry.

I guess if Ali is in talks about coming to BRFC, I wonder how long before Shebby pitches up to globally advise again. You just get this crushing feeling of inevitability about it all.

Shebby is on record as saying his work at BRFC isn't finished, so unfortunately I do expect him to return at some point.
