RevidgeBlue Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Steele actually did well for the saves but the Fulham players got 3 chances without a hint of a challenge from inside the 6 yard box. Never seen anything like it. On the bright side, if the owners are watching this on TV in India at some point.................. We can but hope.

A cup of beans Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Guthrie and Evans are appalling. But I feel sorry for them in this system. They need to play in a 5. They can't press or impose. Jay spearing didn't do much for rovers, but he'd be a huge improvement
Butty Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 The defending for that second goal was an absolute disgrace. Bowyer out before it's too late.

They're probably getting match reports from Shelfy. "Rovers 10-0 Fulham. Player values increase 1000000%!"
scotchrover Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We're going down, but that won't matter because we're currently giving it "a right good go!"
davulsukur Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 What's the time in India? Venky time! 17:15 according to Google.

Gav Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 For a side thats been outplayed for 40 minutes we've had some right chances.
Backroom DE. Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 For a side thats been outplayed for 40 minutes we've had some right chances. That's because Fulham are bloody crap. We're just worse, hence 2 goals for them and none for us.
A cup of beans Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 5 midfield? We'd be even more negative then. Can you not see we're over run* with no protection for our awful defence.
USABlue Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Again Venkies miss a golden opportunity to boot this clown and give a new boss time to work with this shower. We ARE going down unless change is made.
bigbrandjohn Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 When you are on a roll two of them would have gone in. It's different when you are on the slide.
Gav Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Again Venkies miss a golden opportunity to boot this clown and give a new boss time to work with this shower. We ARE going down unless change is made. Things don't improve until Venkys go USA.
Backroom DE. Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 Fulham's keeper has been excellent. Steele has done well, too, just let down by the abortion of a defence in front of him.
A cup of beans Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 For a side thats been outplayed for 40 minutes we've had some right chances. No good when you don't take any, and your defence looks like conceding at every attack
Doaksie Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Cairney being allowed to stroll around the pitch and spray passes like a young Tugay. It's not like we shouldn't be familiar with when and how he can be effective. For a side that sets up with 2 holding CMs, we constantly got completely over-run in the middle of the pitch. For a long, long time. We now have a plethora of them and still it continues unabated. Nothing evident here today that anybody wouldn't have expected. Just a Sunday stroll and Bowyer watches it all with his usual gormless front, hands in pockets. Glad we had those 2 weeks in training to get us organised.
Backroom Tom Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 When you are on a roll two of them would have gone. It's different when you are on the slide And if we were unlucky we would be 4 down
Pedro Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This is possibly even worse than Kean. We're definitely back to that same level, at the very least. A lazy, unorganised rabble with no quality, no desire and no will to win. Every match we give Bowyer is a step closer to the trap door. Kean was a better manager in the Championship. We spent more time in the top six under him than we ever have under Bowyer. ...and I've been sick in my mouth having to type that.
chaddyrovers Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We had 3 or 4 very good chances so far. We have 8/9 shots. We had enough chances/shots to have 2 or 3 goals. BUT its the SAME OLD PROBLEMS at the back.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Well at least this 5 minutes gives Gaz some positives for his post match presser.
USABlue Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Gaz will be hppy with this cos it shows just how much we miss his boy Lowey
Husky Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Says: If their keeper wasn't Gordonbanksesque we would have slaughtered them.
Backroom Mike E Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 Wonderful save from their keeper. Only solution to this is Lawrence on for Evans, Koita on for Delf imo. Go all out. Bowyer Out!!
