JBiz Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 This thread is for predictions jbizzle, why not tell us yours instead of pulling up other people? Plenty more threads to do that surely Didn't realise this thread was just that sorry. Moved!
broadsword Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 If that was me you were mithering, then last three games of last season he played Raya, then Steele then the other one, Eastwood, that's him, and actually said they were auditioning for the number 1 slot next season.
Gav Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Didn't realise this thread was just that sorry. Moved! What do think for Sunday?
JBiz Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 "As for Sunday, I hope we win. Even if it's a scrappy one. Regardless of manager, this team needs points." If you are asking me what I think the outcome will be, I'm not sure really but if we are going to improve it needs to be sooner rather than later. I don't think GB has the tactical nous to develop a consistent standard of play, which would enable me to be confident when playing away against a top half team. In normal circumstances I'd take a point but difficult to see how that's going to be enough considering our points tally so far is grim. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Nottingham forest esq second half performance of last season or even a similar to the 1-0 of last year at Craven Cottage would be just what the club needs, regardless of opinions on what it might change as a result.
Husky Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Please dear God make an England v Australia ticket available this Sunday.
Waggy76 Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I cannot see us winning , we need points and about 50 of them , do I think we will get them ? Not a hope whilst we persist with Bowyer ..... A point would not be a bad thing on Sunday , will Bowyer be in situ for the Dingle game ? If he is god help us !
Husky Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Fulham 4 rovers 0, no joke! I'm not laughing
yoda Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Going for 3-1 Rovers win Good old Chaddy, just when you need him
Backroom Tom Posted September 11, 2015 Backroom Posted September 11, 2015 Going for 3-1 Rovers win It's as likely as anything else We are nothing if not unpredictable
Backroom DE. Posted September 11, 2015 Backroom Posted September 11, 2015 We've been pretty predictable so far this season tbh.
JHRover Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I'll go for a 1-1 draw. I can't see Rovers winning an away game as we aren't adventurous enough and don't pressurise the opposition defence enough. On the flip side if we do get a goal ahead then we aren't capable of digging in for a clean sheet. If we are going to lose then I hope Tom Cairney scores the winning goal just to highlight what an unnecessary and ridiculous decision it was to sell him to Fulham of all teams.
Neal Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Think we'll win due to some hoofball or set piece maybe, Fulham are a bit soft and recon we might catch them out physically. A loss wouldn't be the worst result in the world if you know what I mean... Not that I hope we lose of course.

matt83 Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Neal surely the priority is winning regardless of who's in charge. I'd have agreed with you until steve kean. Where certain wins under him which reportedly kept him in a job started to break my heart. Defo not there with bowyer and don't think I will be. A win followed by bowyer being replaced would be perfect. Can't see either happening though.
AllRoverAsia Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I can clearly see 2 losses coming up v Fulham and QPR and Bowyer remaining safe unless Shelfy in self-preservation mode goes rogue and bins him.
Husky Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Fulham. I suspect they are a team who (or at least their fans) expect to be up there at the top of the league challenging for promotion. Yet, rather like us, they've been consistently rubbish since they last dropped down to this level. They are no great shakes and we seem to have done okay against them in recent times. We'll get a 1-1.
tkturner Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 one nil loss for me, not too great a performance from either side...
Neal Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Neal surely the priority is winning regardless of who's in charge. Of course, just remarking that I wouldn't be too upset given that a change of management is needed.
Leonard Venkhater Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Of course, just remarking that I wouldn't be too upset given that a change of management is needed. Are you thinking of that wonderful win at Old Trafford?
Hasta Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Start Guthrie. Start with Koita and Rhodes. Don't start with Lowe. That's the minimum I hope for. Putting a different goalkeeper in would just be an added bonus which I doubt will happen.
LDRover Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 We'll set our stall out for a 0-0, concede after about half an hour and have no plan b apart from the odd long throw. 2-0 Fulham
