Husky Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 The second half performance has been good, but ultimately only brings two negatives - we still lost, and it gives Bowyer a thousand excuses. That's EXACTLY what I said earlier. This is the WORST thing that could have happened today THE WORST THING EVER!
USABlue Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Im feeli g a little beeter about the performance, we've desrved to get something from this. Why no hawkeye in our division
Ricky Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 None Phil. The real shame now is that Gary has loads of ammo for the post match interview. We were unlucky and should have got something out of it. However that papers over the cracks.
pick32 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We did t deserve that absolutely dominated second half need to get some shooting practice
Bundesburn Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Bowyer - I think legitimately - has his excuses today. Should be 2-2, at least and we've done enough to win it. Whatever he said at half-time had an effect, but the players haven't executed. Nevertheless, a better-drilled, more committed side wouldn't have been as poor in the first half and would have likely battered them in the second half. I think he's currently staring into the abyss. A loss on Wednesday and I can't see how he stays in the job.
Stuart Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 How many times have we been in the lead at any point in any game this season?..... None. And that has been the case since April.
A cup of beans Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Cairney laughing at bowyer before. Don't know how we haven't drawn. Let's not kid ourselves, We were abject for 40mins
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 13, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted September 13, 2015 We're not good enough. We can't score and can't defend, we are going down and Bowyer is taking us down. Not good enough from top to bottom. Everyone out.
roverandout Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 A loss is a loss is a loss (apart from when goal line technology is in use) bowyer has to go...bye bye bowyer
Backroom Mike E Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 No-one gives a stuff, Mike. They aren't going to bring in 'was it a corner/throw-in technology' for a reason. It hardly needed technology to say our player knocked it out for a goal kick. If that goal had been given, it's what Fulham would point to. Admittedly we need all the luck we can get but I'm sick of excuses papering over bloody poor performances.
neophox Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Please sack Mr bowyer or have the gut to resign.
SamTheShrew Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Should easily have got something out of that game. Crux of the matter is: poor defending AGAIN put us in the chasing position. You can't have to score 3 goals to win every game. This has been Bowyer's Achilles heal for 2 YEARS. Heart shown by the team, a 'right good go' given, but this does not mask the fact that change is still more than ever needed to prevent the above.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 A loss is still a loss however much some will inevitably try and make excuses. Not good enough as we just bumble and stumble on.
Stuart Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 That was really telling from Cairney. The interviewer suggesting that Bowyer might be under pressure having not won this season. He gave a half-nod-half-shrug that said "I'm not so sure about that".
rovers11 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 WTF! How on earth!! Great second half display but another loss, another two goals conceded, and in the bottom three. Time for Bowyer to go.
philipl Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Could/should have been 0-4 in the first 20 minutes. Horrific mismanagement of a limited squad that could be mid-table if we "gave it a go."
matt83 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Felt we were unlucky for once. Did ever so well Magnificent Gave it a right good go Unlucky Had more chances Same old drivel on its way but the fact remains lost again. But hey we made a 6000% profit on gestede and cairney
neophox Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Cant see us getting any points on wednesday. Rovers is a business and that is failing at the moment.
Backroom Tom Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 Team were unlucky in the end, the manager deserved the loss for the way he sent us out. Football isn't about giving it a right good go. Bowyer out.
Backroom Mike E Posted September 13, 2015 Backroom Posted September 13, 2015 Commentator giving Bowyer his excuses for him: 'Plenty of positives to take from today.' Thing is, Bowyer never actually takes them! If he did we'd have started Koita alongside Rhodes from day one for a start.
MarkBRFC71 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 3 points from 18. That's all that matters. Bowyer HAS to resign or be fired or we will be in League One next season - it really is that simple.
cesus Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I simply refuse to take the positives from the second purely down to just how bad we were in the first. Zero points is all that matters. A team that defends so badly will be around the bottom at the end of the season, that is a fact.
neophox Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 How he can play Spurr ahead of Olsson is Beyond me. Sack Bowyer now.
