A point at one of the promotion hopefuls. Will this be enough to sway the fickle brigade even further and get Gazza into double percentage figures?

Well he's gained 10 votes in a week. Only one swing vote though.

Koita is playing in the team and we arent playing hoofball. We are passing style of play now.

With Gestede in the team then its totally acceptable to play more long ball football

Not really. It limited Rhodes and we had none of the other players suites to it. Rhodes, the cms and even our wingers rarely got the knock down or remnants of Gestede's work.

Great we're picking up points but it's taken the loss of Gestede AND injuries to Lowe and Spurr to change our style. More error than design Imo.

A lot less than some of the ridiculous/infamous Kean swing votes to be fair. One swallow did make a summer for a lot of people whilst he was in charge!

1 win in 10 isn't promise. But, the captain isn't going to be made to walk the plank anytime soon, so we might as well back them until either the Indian Company cluck off or until we are seriously lower than shark @#/?.

If we are still in the same position this time next month, will you mutiny against Captain Bowyer or will you be calling for him to start Kraken some heads?

Some of the captains most blinkered hello sailors on here have shown mutinous tendencies in recent weeks that haven't gone unnoticed only for them to change like the wind and hoist the Gaz flag again. Strange bunch these seadogs ;)

To rescue this club we really need to summon the Big Kracken again from the dark depths (well Bromley Cross actually) but sadly it would take several chests of purest gold from the Indian pirates for it to raise it's tentacles again !

Give Bowyer time and he'll take us all to meet up with Davy Jones

Edit: this nautical point of view is giving me nightmares where a fat slag from the East takes Robert Newton's part as Long John Silver, Shelfy excels as the Parrot and Bowyer as Jim who keeps saying it's all fantastic, brilliant, terrific and we're doing ever so well in our search for the PL gold - even though the Keel is far from stable.

You have a lot to answer for Walney Blue.

Playing devil's advocate, we didn't get relegated and moved Gestede on for £6m by playing to his strengths.

It's hard to imagine that promotion is in Venkys thoughts at all but if it isn't then it's harder to understand why they are still here at all.

Brother Bowyer has advised the crew to play to Rhodes strengths this season and Jordan seems to have decided himself it's time for him to push on and improve his all round game which is a massive plus and we can see the difference. Maybe he's realised that to attract more interest from premier sides he needs to up his game.

If only brother Tom, if only.

I forecast that the siren call of the Makem will lure that captain to the home of shipbuilding.

2nd Half Fulham, QPR, Charlon and a draw at Hull all adds up to promise.

Yes I'd like to be higher up the table, but I'd also like black beards autograph to in an ideal world.

If only Bowyer was in charge for the previous couple of seasons, based on the positive results of the last few games, we probably would have been promoted. Oh wait!

The crew constantly complaining does nothing more than hammer moral, just enjoy the football, if not why support the side?

Nonsense, and you know it. We support the team, and we will criticise the manage and the players. Still you try and avoid the last few seasons under Bowyer, and try and pretend a win over Charlton and an away point against Hull is worthy of a celebration. Bowyer is a poor manager, like i said he is not even a mangager but a youth team coach. 1 win in 10 is poor, even if the refs have screwed us over. I said already, if Bowyer turns this around, ill give him his credit, but until then, he is nothing but a lucky guy to still be in a job

Brother iceman, its not nonsense and I'm not ignoring the past, Captain Bowyer must do better.

Father Walney told me Dougan put in a transfer request the night of the FA Cup final

Hendry left for Man City

Atkins Liverpool own goal

Shipmates Le Saux and Batty had a punch up on the pitch

Admiral Walker wouldn't fund transfers when we won the league

Kean played the reserves at Cardiff when we should have made Wembley

Are we going to remain bitter and angry forever? or enjoy the football? I'm going to enjoy the football.
