dallydally Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Grateful for what GB has done to stabilise the Club when it was in dire straights but he reached his zenith some time ago. He is bereft of ideas and plays the same tune over and over. We need someone with pedigree who can bring fresh ideas to the table and galvanise this squad of players. We won't be going anywhere soon under GB's leadership other than down the table and probably into League One

Rover_Shaun Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 The only way he will 'deserve better' is if he pulls us out of it. Otherwise it's going to end in a bad way whichever finger you look out between The country voted Churchill out....
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 14, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted September 14, 2015 Bowyer doesn't deserve to it to get toxic like it did with Kean. But make no mistake, that's where it's heading if results carry on as they are, that's just inevitable. We keep giving ourselves a mountain to climb by giving away stupid goals, then going hell for leather to get back into the game, but being toothless in attack. If that doesn't change, neither will our trajectory unfortunately.
Athlete Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Thirty six players signed no wins from the first Seven games with one at home to lowerleague opposition..... suggests that luck has absolutely nothing to do with it. 38 if GB signed em
PeteJD13 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 reluctantly voted yes, when you are resorting to blind hope about getting results its time for a change
Jimmy612 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 So for the 4th time asking, what now? Who are you addressing your question to? I'm afraid very, very few of us on this message board will have an answer for you.
Iceman Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Im not asking anybody in particular, but the question remains what happens now. Few more games for bowyer and fall further behind, or it gets nasty and he his forced out. I dont want to see the latter happen, but i also dont want to see the former happen. Over to Venkys i suppose to give him the boot
gumboots Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Lol. There's more chance of North Korea having an open day.funnily enough they're organising as close as you'll get to an open day, letting family members from north and south meet up

If that doesn't change, neither will our trajectory unfortunately. But GB and the club are not helping matters. There is a real them and us atmosphere at Rovers these days and the fans are not viewed well. It's almost like the Loons have instilled their own values from India onto Rovers, and we are all shanty town people.
broadsword Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 What now? Relegation, I'd have thought. If indeed he does get binned, by the time that happens we'll be up a gum tree. whoever they bring in, won't be good enough to knock us out of it. God know who they'll appoint. No-one with experience and a sizable pair, I'd wager.
Rover_Shaun Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I still don't see Bowyer taking the club down. But is that the limit of his remit?
davulsukur Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Im not asking anybody in particular, but the question remains what happens now. Over to Venkys i suppose to give him the boot The immediate future is Bowyer taking charge of the game against QPR. He won't be getting canned before then. He has an opportunity to claw himself back by coming home with the 3 points. Big ask and I can't see it happening at all. QPR will probably get a fairly comfortable victory. Attentions then turn to Saturday at Ewood. The result of the QPR game should be enough to set the mood amongst the home crowd. Should we lose both, come 5pm Saturday I can see it being really ugly. You can NEVER predict what the clowns in Pune will do next. He could be sacked but I'm more inclined to believe they will keep him in charge for a few months regardless of results.
1arC Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 So for the 4th time asking, what now? Kamy has a contact he has referred to, who states that the owners do not know the fans are not happy with Bowyer. Sorry to ask Kamy, but can you feed this back and let the owners know, this poll has taken place and what the results are? I guess as people have already stated, it may be argued that this site is not a true reflection, but the votes so far are pretty conclusive.

Iceman Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Well lose to QPR and on Saturday, and Venkys will definately know what the fans think of Bowyer. funnily enough they're organising as close as you'll get to an open day, letting family members from north and south meet upWill there be balloons and all sorts of fun stuff to do
JHRover Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Kamy has a contact he has referred to, who states that the owners do not know the fans are not happy with Bowyer. Sorry to ask Kamy, but can you feed this back and let the owners know, this poll has taken place and what the results are? I guess as people have already stated, it may be argued that this site is not a true reflection, but the votes so far are pretty conclusive. What's the point? We've seen before they couldn't care less what the fans think, and to be honest I don't think owners should make their decisions based on polls on the internet. The only thing the owners should be concerned about are results and our league position and the growing spectre of relegation. If after 5 years they still don't understand the importance of not winning games and being in the bottom 3 and the benefits to changing managers then we truly have no hope, and it really doesn't matter if we shout and scream about it. They claim they have learned valuable and expensive lessons these last few years. Well if results continue as they are for much longer then those lessons will be put to the test. Simply sitting back and doing nothing as they did in 2011-12 could see the end for this club.
tomphil Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 What happened last time a poll like this was supposedly presented to Mrs D, nowt that's what. You could hold every fan entering Ewood on Saturday at gunpoint and make them vote one way or the other and it wouldn't make a jot of difference.
Rover_Shaun Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 As a match-day percentage (12,000 home fans) Sack 11,735 Back 265 Just for fun
JAL Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 38 if GB signed em If you only need eleven, plus maybe another three at max to win a game. Just whats happened to the other two dozen players or so that hes signed when the first team hasn't won a competitive game ALL season.

Ste B Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 We got 5000 plus emails for the Kean out petition. They didn't think that was representative either
Mike Graham Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 We got 5000 plus emails for the Kean out petition. They didn't think that was representative either That's because K**n had more letters of support.
JBiz Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I voted yes. I still said "but only if there is a qualified and competent replacement lined up" in my mind after the question like. It still makes me feel extremely uneasy, and if they don't sack the manager I'm still behind him and the club because the priority IS the club. Hopefully we can win the next two regardless. I think many posters are oblivious to the likelihood of it getting worse as opposed to better. It's definitely a factor with this ownership. Worries me at least. Maybe the "5000" emails (as it would be many less) to the owners this time should include a replacement we could all agree to get behind. For me it's got to be Pearson.
