tomphil Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 A lot of our probs now stem from last seasons complete blasé attitude from everyone at the club. No targets set, no real pressure on anyone and the manager playing with the team every week to keep people happy and help increase the value of some through giving them games. No scrutiny from those above when it became clear after the first few months we were going backwards also not enough pressure from fans inside the stadium when we had a long run were Blackpool and Brum were going more points than us. IE relegation form which is what we see again now. No real steps to avoid the embargo they all knew was coming. The club completely sleep walked last season and we came too just in time to avoid real problems because we had Gestede to carry the can with Rhodes. Now here we are, this is what you get in football by standing still and employing water treaders. A shot in the arm is needed and everyone in charge of the club needs a reality check and a proper kick up the backside because this 'it's ok to lose as long as you've given it a right good go' has seriously rubbed off on the players. Trotting it out now and again is fair enough but every week for 2 years, and it has been, is ridiculous. It's the kind of things you say to kids, no surprise there eh!

Rover_Shaun Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I read somebody saying on the LT website that the paper have stitched Bowyer up these past two days and have taken what he said out of context. Well here it is in all its gory glory. Word for word as quoted by the paper and word for word believed by Mr Bowyer. http://audioboom.com/boos/3749781-l

donnermeat Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 The last 80 games or so. What makes you think they'll hire someone who will improve us? Bowyer was a good appointment, no?
TeamGB-11 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 It is my view that players can appear to be trying their hardest, running their legs off, but if the set up is poor, you'll lose most games. Equally in a good system players are comfortable with, they don't have to run their @#/? off and will win more than they lose.. Don't know if anyone agrees with that but its how I view football..
Giant Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Our old friend Shebby confirms what most already know, Bowyer is going nowhere: @SerbgethSingh: Only way the current coach will be changed is if the club is relegated so those people just back off him & let him do his job #ownersrhappy

donnermeat Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I can't believe a middle aged man - actually scratch that - an ADULT used the letter 'r' instead of writing 'are'.
Backroom DE. Posted October 29, 2015 Backroom Posted October 29, 2015 Unfortunately Shebby is still close with the owners, so he's probably telling the truth. Not that any of us should be surprised.
TeamGB-11 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 It does us no good to get on bowyers back if that is the truth..
TBTF Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 2 wins in 14... how exactly could get it much worse? ''But we have a fantastic way of playing'' !!! WTF is he on? I think he knows he is skating on thin ice now, thinks he has done enough to be called a manager now (having elevated himself from caretaker/ former academy etc etc) and is now just chancing his arm so that when the crunch comes people will think he was the man that brought stability to a basket case club and gets the big sympathy vote from the wider managerial family he seems so keen to ingratiate himself with. People outside Blackburn will think he has been badly treated and he will be reasonably positioned to pick up another job. Delusional clown
JBiz Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Bowyer was a good appointment, no? They stumbled onto GB in fairness! Who will they stumble to hire next? Maybe Dave Fevre could do a job..
Husky Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Looks like he's still here then.................
Rover_Shaun Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Football Genius! "We’re one win away from really taking off...." Oh how we scoffed.............
Baz Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 "We’re one win away from really taking off...." Oh how we scoffed............. Don't count your chickens yet....long way to go in this game.

It just suggests yet again that if things continued to go wrong they'd just sit back again and let us get relegated then maybe think about doing something. Utter clueless tosspot arrogant cretins and Singh would be better keeping his idiotic gob firmly shut. What kind of @#/? message does that send out
LewisF Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 shebby singh is a disgrace. Doesn't even deserve capitals on his name
TeamGB-11 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Venkys actually are showing they know more about succeeding in sport than we have given them credit for by giving their manager time and resolutely sticking by him whilst under pressure from fans.. Don't forget Alex Ferguson would have been long gone before he won that first trophy at man u had it been up to the fans.
