Were questions at the FF limited to the playing side of things?

The important questions about the owners' plans, Exec structure, targets etc still need asking.

Get down to the Q&A evening and ask them :tu:

I would think he would pass them on to Tommy Johnson(chief Scout) and he would be the one who would scout/look into the player in more detail

No doubt that Bowyer gets phone calls from loads of agents offering him players.

but we do have a scouting network now in place since Bowyer took over as manager

How many of the scouts are connected to agencies ?

It's a question, along the lines of, do the panel on match of the day have valid opinions as they have watched the games on video ?

They watch all the games live over 90 minutes.

We have a Chief Scout in Tommy Johnson.

Then Scouts who will scouts players, leagues looking for players.

I believe our current scouts are Ian Bowyer, Phil Wilson, Gerard Cassidy, Peter Nugent. Plus Im sure they are more names. Ive only found them by during a quick Google search.

I think Lowe is absolutely astute at breaking up play. I've lost count the amount of times where we intercept the ball, the wingers bomb forward into space but he chooses a simple sideways pass or a cut back to the fullback.

That's a valid point I suppose. If the MOTD panel was made up of Joe Blow then I would not give Joe's opinion any merit above that of somebody actually at the game.

However, it is my understanding that the MOTD panel sit down of a Saturday aft at the BBC and have the benefit of multiple angles whilst watching live coverage of the games. They then have a few hours to formulate their opinions. Given that the MOTD pundits are generally vastly experienced ex pros with access to the multi angles then their opinion is more valid than some bloke down south watching a buffering stream of Rovers v Brentford.

Actually they don't watch the games. There are a team of people logging each game and telling them what to look at. They are there but not watching everything

Received my ticket this morning. Very professional appearance and appropriately worded covering letter.

Well done!

do the owners still watch every game back in pune?

Do the owners still remember they actually own a club or are they too busy ruining something else these days ? Maybe they have a new plaything having got extremely bored of this one.

thats exactly it, bowyer puts him out here because HE BELIEVES that lowe is good at breaking up play and stopping the oppo from building any momentum, this is just a delusion of bowyers though, Lowe really does stop or play and momentum far far more than he does the oppos

You can see a massive improvement in Evans now he can focus on spraying the ball a bit further without Lowe being in his space and is now getting 15 yards higher up the pitch to link up on the edge of the box. Credit where it is due, Guthrie looks a very good signing so far (as does Akpan) and we are looking so much better going forwards..just needs to track a man into the box.

and I know because my daughters done the logging job a few times.

Some of the questions suggested on here are great, In just hope that people come down on the night and ask some well thought out questions. The night will only be as good or interesting as people make it.

I've got a ticket for the Q&A but now can't go. It's free to the first person to ask for it. Meet at Ewood on Saturday to hand over.

I have cleared this with the AG. They will want to know who I've passed it on to.

I'd be happy to take it Paul but not 100% I'll be at Ewood this weekend

I'm looking for someone to go with. Everybody that used to care can no longer be arsed with the management of this club and therefore don't want to go.

If anybody wants someone to go with who frankly is sick to the back teeth of the senior people at the club (I don't give a damn about Bowyer, he's way down the list of problems) let me know - although no gaurentees I won't get irate.

Question to the three is...... after just nine games into the season why is it already over from a supporters point of view ?

If you ask that don't forget to add "in my opinion".
