The key issues of Blackburn Rovers'future all lie in India....not the 'puppets' appointed. But maybe Myers and Shelfie do need to be put thru the ringer.

For me, all of the questions boil down to one: "Why are Venkys still here?"

The only logical reason (ignoring the use of Rovers as some kind of international tax vehicle) is to eventually reach the Premier League, restore their fortunes, and put themselves into the media spotlight and bask in the glorious PR that it would bring.

Without them we are penniless and will enter administration. There's no shame in that, although it's pretty terrible, and a lot of other clubs have done so. We will end up relegated and then look to rebuild like Portsmouth appear to be doing. To avoid this, given our dire finances, we need to be in the Premier League.

So this is the point where the questions begin. If the PL is the answer to both the fans and their woes (at least in the short term) then why have they accepted mediocrity for so long.

All of our frustrations and demands, as fans, have stemmed from the lack of a clear plan for our club. After everything that has gone on, the idea that Venkys "just care" about Rovers is too far fetched. Book-ending the in-fighting which put paid to Berg and Appleton, giving Kean and Bowyer much longer than either would have had at any other club smacks of a lack of real interest or concern. Things have gone reasonably well for the last few games, and we appear to have hit a purple patch at just the right time to make this Q&A rather benign. If pro-Bowyer fans weren't already armed with their put downs and 'real fan' mentality before then they will be now. We can all hope that we've turned a corner but it's more likely that we are an injury or two from the wheels falling off and the feelgood factor drying up again.

Nobody hates Bowyer, everyone just wants what is best for the club. Regardless of a few recent games, Bowyer hasn't picked a team yet - when everyone in the squad is fit and available - that has been up to the task, it has taken injuries to make his mind up for him. 3 years in he remains stumbling on the right combination now and again. But again, the only reason he is here is because of Venkys.

I agree with all of the post other than the "pro bowyer" aspect because I don't think anyone thinks it's quite as cut and dry as for or against because of the main sentiment of your post - Venkys.

On the 10th of next month it will be five long years since the Loons stuck their talons into our club, Deggsie, what is their greatest achievement? Keeping you in a job against the odds? What is your salary for overseeing failure? Why are you still employed after being castigated in the High Court? Why are we in FFP, when nobody but us and Forest have been penalised? Why is promotion paramount and we have, but for one brief moment in the top six, been nowhere near?

What does the future hold? I'm still waiting for my cheap ST in the PL.

I thought you already knew how many scouts we had? Sure you posted a list of them somewhere.

In answer to your question, the answer will be lots, even if it isn't, what else are they likely to say, we saw a few 10 second clips on you-tube and winged it?

I think you should have a more detailed question to get a more precise answer i.e. Who scouted Petschi / Koita how many games etc... Best qualities, weaknesses. Do we have a game plan that we scout for players to fit too etc.

You're paying a fiver just to ask how many scouts we have, why don't you give them all a shoulder massage aswell. You do realiae if you ask questions likw that they will spend 20 minutes answering it so they dont have to answer any more serious questions.
