Just finished, the most worrying thing for me was that Derek Shaw admitted that he didn't read Henning Bergs contract as he was assured that it was the same as Steve Keans. Which chairman does not read a bloody contract!!!!!

Ruined at the end by some scumbag effin and jeffin, other than that a really good night and very glad i attended.

That last 15 minutes made it all worth it. If there was ever evidence needed that we need sensible professionals talking to the club that was it rather than letting everyone have their say that was it.

My mate was there and told me a young lad put a good case forward for lowering the ticket prices against burnley in order to try and fill the place etc. For me he makes a very good point.

Annoying to hear that he then gets shot down by 'superfan' terry, shouting 'they aren't real fans. '

I thought all 3 did well in their own way, Gary was very open but his tone isn't the best for public speaking, Derek and Alan had tough questions and were a bit defensive but didn't hide.

A lot of time felt wasted with various topics being discussed for too long and the fan debate was close to the surface at times.

Fair play to all 3 for attending and the action group for organising

Once saw superfan Terry punch another fan at a game.

Overall some weird questions, some good questions, very few answers.

Anyway Myers, Shaw and Bowyer have only seen us play poorly for 2 halves (Derby & Rotherham) and the first 20 minutes vs Fulham in the past 2 seasons. So I don't know what we are worried about.

Yeah he came across really well. Overall Shaw dodged any question, Gary does care although I struggle to buy into it personally, Myers is very media trained and says the right things.

Would totally agree Tom. I thought all three spoke openly and answered what they were asked. As you say, fair play to them for agreeing to do it knowing full well that they would get grief from some. I thought most seemed to agree with Gary's point that it was time to move on from the past and get behind the players on the pitch.

21:00: Gary Bowyer 'as a club we need to stop the bickering'

*rapturous applause*

21:25: we finish early due to bickering led by Mr Angry

Brilliant!

Well that was sort of interesting. What did I learn?

Myers can talk for England. Like a politician.

It's incredible how little Derek actually knows, as though he's some sort of puppet who just signs things off and makes a few quid on the side. I was particularly impressed in how he absolved himself from blame with the Leon Best contract as it as his first day in the job. Well done Derek.

I warmed to Bowyer immensely. Not the greatest public speaker ever but so what? Nobodys fool.

Very pleasing Q and A. Apart from the end of it.

All 3 did well in answering questions.

Bowyer was 100% right that the past has gone and we need to move and look to the future and back the team.

Also like the question and his points the young guy made at the end about lowering ticket prices for Burnley game and charging around 25 pounds.

Thanks for Bowyer, Myers and Shaw for attending and to The action group for arranging it.

Also very good to meet Tom M and Pete for the 1st time tonight.

can't see how Derek Shaw can walk away with any credit from this evening - that Shaggy song, "it wasn't me" should be his new strapline.

Decent night ruined by the idiot at the end who couldn't take 2 hours of drinking...glad I wasn't the only person who thinks the Burnley game is well overpriced.

I think I come away more disillusioned than before.

I Asked about Venkys and when they last communicated.

SHAW : "little dialogue other than they would like promotion."

I pressed shaw.. "so no expectations, plan or real targets ?"

SHAW: "Promotion or playoffs"

I asked about the rational behind the burnley pricing and myers muttered an answer about FFP.

Fair play to the lad from Accrington for readressing the issue.

Fact is, there is no real plan of action.

Other than some platitudes about how great a club we are and how passionate we are as fans, there was very little substance in their answers, and nothing to really give me hope.

observations.

They haven't heard from the owners for around three weeks.

During the season, the owners just let them get on with things.

The owners are busy with other business interests.

No targets set, but they (the owners) would "like" promotion.

Club set to lose just under 20 mill

One player sale of under 5 mill should see us out of embargo.

If we start spending again, we'll be back in it.

Need gates of 20000 to be able to compete in this league.

Shaw signs contracts without reading them and because he was told to. (already done that). Well actually he did read the the Best and Etuhu contracts, thought they were outrageous, but signed them because he was told to. He was told the Berg contract was the same as Keans (even though it wasn't) so signed it without reading it.

Bowyer thinks everything is down to bad luck, or occasional defensive lapses. Nothing to do with actually playing badly.

In my opinion, I saw nothing from anyone (owners/Myers/Shaw/Bowyer) that suggests any of 'em have the abilities or know how - to move us forwards.

What I can't understand is how we are still £5m off FFP even with getting a lot of high earners off the payroll. Boro have a lower turnover than us, and are paying big wages now, yet are compliant??

Lets see if Boro are compliant as the next set of accounts are announced.

Derek was always going to get the toughest time tonight and I didn't expect much more from him, he used the excuses it was my first day, I was off sick and I wasn't in court and firmly blamed Shebby for most things but that was to be expected.

You can tell Gary is quite quick witted and does care but his tone is just a bit unfortunate, we aren't all good public speakers mind.

Agree with Parson though it was clearly a diverse mix in the room and the strongest reaction of the night was when he said it was time to put bickering aside and get together as fans behind one cause.

I have to say our man Savio spoke very well about FPP.

Den,we have been told we need to stop the bickering and forget the past *to loud fan applause*

Another 20 Million loss.

Our owners have set no targets and now rarely communicate.

Gates not big enough to compete in this league.

Feck me then,all is well.
