Parsonblue Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I hope Bowyer and his scouts are. He is defo knows where the net is. Watched him last night and he took his goal very well. I've seen him a few times and he is a young lad with potential but I suspect he would struggle in the Championship at this moment in time as there are still other aspects to his game which need developing. As we can't pay a fee it's pretty academic as Stanley would want money for him and I've no doubt that at some point someone will be prepared to pay money to take a gamble on him developing.

Neal Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Port Vale's Uche Ikpeazu looks like a player, 20 years old and very big and strong... 6 goals this season already.
USABlue Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Port Vale's Uche Ikpeazu looks like a player, 20 years old and very big and strong... 6 goals this season already. Might be best we steer clear of big and strong for the time being. We are just showing signs of exorcising "Rudyball"
chaddyrovers Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I know this isnt from Lower league but from Scottish PL. Northern Ireland and Kilmarock striker Josh Magennis. He has pace, Strength. He needs to improve his finishing but I'm Bowyer and his staff could that. Plus he could learn from Rhodes aswell
J*B Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Firmly believe you can't improve finishing. You either have it or you dont.
JBiz Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Firmly believe you can't improve finishing. You either have it or you dont. It's all about practice. GB alluded to the work he puts in. I always remember the early Beckham interview where it's shows his free kick regimes.
chaddyrovers Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Firmly believe you can't improve finishing. You either have it or you dont. I understand what you are saying but I believe you can. Look at how much Walcott learnt from Henry about finishing. Plus look at the improvement of Gestede under Bowyer and his staff during his time here
Backroom Mike E Posted October 11, 2015 Backroom Posted October 11, 2015 I understand what you are saying but I believe you can. Look at how much Walcott learnt from Henry about finishing. Plus look at the improvement of Gestede under Bowyer and his staff during his time here I'm not sure either was a case of improvement on finishing. Gestede was just used properly (put it on his head) and Walcott being used in his proper position (up front). Re: Walcott I've always said he was a striker. Before last season he'd only ever played up front twice, both for England: Scored a goal against 'someone' and a hattrick vs Croatia

Plus look at the improvement of Gestede under Bowyer and his staff during his time here How much has Chris Brown learned off anyone Chaddy?
JAL Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I understand what you are saying but I believe you can. Look at how much Walcott learnt from Henry about finishing. Plus look at the improvement of Gestede under Bowyer and his staff during his time here Rudy Gestede was always Rudy Gestede just dont see what Gary Bowyer and his staff did to improve him.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 11, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted October 11, 2015 Apart from giving him game time and allowing him to score the most goals of his career so far?
Backroom Mike E Posted October 11, 2015 Backroom Posted October 11, 2015 Rudy Gestede was always Rudy Gestede just dont see what Gary Bowyer and his staff did to improve him. To add to K-Hod's post, used him properly by making him a focal point of attack instead just a 'foil' targetman.
Dunnfc Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 It's all about practice. GB alluded to the work he puts in. I always remember the early Beckham interview where it's shows his free kick regimes. Learnt them from Steve Kean y'know?
Neal Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Josh Windass scoring AGAIN today. 8 goals in 16.
Neal Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Forgot to post someone I'd seen a month ago who didn't actually score when i watched them but has got 9 goals this season... Paddy Madden at Scunthorpe, class act that lad, bags of talent and can score.
chaddyrovers Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I would be looking to sign Windass if we can
DanielMB Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Paddy Madden was banging them in when Yeovil was in League 1. Don't know what happened to him when they were playing Championship ball. Maybe above his level?
Neal Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Paddy Madden was banging them in when Yeovil was in League 1. Don't know what happened to him when they were playing Championship ball. Maybe above his level? Certainly looks too good for league 1 to me.
Baz Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I would be looking to sign Windass if we can We cant.
TeamGB-11 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I hope Stanley can hang onto their players and give promotion a decent shot.. I believe they're getting new investment in the near future..
T J Hooker Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I would be looking to sign Windass if we can We can't.
LewisF Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Wasn't sure which topic to post it on, but what an outstanding performance from Salford tonight! Unbelievable
LewisF Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 The young Rovers player did wellindeed, they all did
