speeeeeeedie Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Blatter and Platini are in the news again; Sepp Blatter, Michel Platini indicted on fraud charges (espn.co.uk) Crooked to the core. This would have been over sooner had Blatter gone to Canada to present the Women's World Cup trophy in 2015. Canada would have arrested him and had him extradited to the USA, where they were ready and waiting for him. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 A 4-part episodes on FIFA corruption by Netflix has gone live today. Just about to watch the first one episode now Quote
lraC Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Interesting that this is coming out now. It feels like perfect timing, but is there something sinister going on. The comment from the ex players last night about homosexuality being a problem of the mind again seemed like very strange timing. I can’t see it happening but imagine a boycott taking place at this stage. Quote
speeeeeeedie Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Blatter also came out with this the other day; ESPN: Qatar World Cup "a mistake". He's stating the obvious there. He knew at the time and went along with it for his own rea$ons. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Watched the first 2 episodes this morning and It's a great insightful watch full of detail and inside info. Watching the other 2 tomorrow. Quote

Upside Down Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Do they go into any detail of how the arms trafficking played into the decision of letting a despotic failed state host the biggest sporting tournament on earth? 2 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Sepp Blatter, once again pointing the finger at Platini to try to distance himself. He is an odious creature with no shame who took FIFA corruption to new levels. It's always been a dodgy outfit. 1 Quote
