[Archived] Help Needed - Burnley Tickets

Evening. Apologies if this is against house rules or anything like that, but I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me.

I'm basically looking to get one adult ticket for the game against Burnley on Saturday 24th October. I registered on the club database a few weeks ago (and have actually been to Ewood Park before, albeit in 2007), but it still won't let me get a ticket - presumably because they see my current account as having no purchase history.

I'm not a Blackburn or Burnley fan (in fact I don't support any team), though I've been to both grounds before - my visit to Ewood Park was a pretty drab 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth on a rainy day this time eight seasons ago.

I'm not a football hooligan or anything and I'm also not intending to chase any Burnley fans around Blackburn with any inflatable objects, like what you might see in Benny Hill.

If anyone can help, it'll be much appreciated.

Andy

I'd suggest you contact the club in person, email or phone. Usually they are pretty good at helping out.

Although if you willing to chase Burnley fans round with inflatable objects, you may both find a willingness for someone to offer you a ticket, and also a few suggestions of favourable inflatables. As a warning though, inflatable monkeys may be a little too stimulating to take near a crowd of dingles.

No need for inflatables but in order to be accepted in the home sections you must loudly make reference to inter family relations and multi digits towards the visiting sections. Failure to do this may result in you being outed as an interloper and indeed chased around Blackburn yourself by the 7 thousand police officers in attendance who have naff all else to do. If they aren't otherwise occupied in Mcdonalds that is :rover:

Mind you approach a group of Dingles pre-game with an inflatable sheep and he'll end with loads of tickets.

Joking about inflatables aside contact the club with details about you and why you want to come to this match and you stand a decent chance.

Just avoid referring to any of the following tho:

Yorkshire

Clarets

Banjo

Minis and Ferraris

Ironing Boards
