Stuart Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Joe Hart hang your head You just knew we'd be saying this.
Husky Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 "Put your hand on your Hart and tell me, it's all over". Can't do much when your keeper chocolate hands it. Bring back Robbo!
Backroom Tom Posted June 16, 2016 Backroom Posted June 16, 2016 He's hit it well but there's no way that should go in, truly abysmal goalkeeping
Backroom DE. Posted June 16, 2016 Backroom Posted June 16, 2016 Hart, Sterling, Kane OFF at half time. The lot of them are a @#/? liability.
davulsukur Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 That's also why you don't play Rooney in midfield.
yorkblue Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 The dingle on the bench would have stopped that Jason Steele would have saved that.....probably.
Jock Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 The whole set up is to fit Kane and Rooney in. Roy's backed the wrong horses.
A cup of beans Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Dire mistake. Hart has always been prone. Raheem Stirling been awful, as have Kane and Ali.
Stuart Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Amazes me that in two games we have played players in a formation that hasn't been used in any of the warm up games. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Woy makes no changes at half time. Great managers react and make changes when things go wrong. They are just showing the chances we might have taken but ultimately we haven't. That's a personnel issue. He may be a great tactician but this lack of savvy is why Woy has never been a great.
Husky Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 @#/? off Sterling! So @#/?! What the hell has happened to England? Are there far too many foreigners in the Premiership that there just aren't any other choices any more?
chaddyrovers Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Bring on Vardy and Wilshere for Sterling and Ali
philipl Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 You really have a downer on the English for some reason. You've done nothing but pick at their fans recently. Anyway, I see Roy has come out on the side of his own pride with the same line up. Hope he handles the substitutions better this time. Wales are better side than Russia. Just saying what it sounds like on TV. The difference between the English and Welsh singing of the anthems by the two sets of fans was huge. Simple fact and nothing to do with downer, Upper or middle....
Backroom DE. Posted June 16, 2016 Backroom Posted June 16, 2016 The whole set up is to fit Kane and Rooney in. Roy's backed the wrong horses. Yep. Have been saying it for years. The bloke's a coward. He cost us WC2014 and he's doing it again now. If we lose this match he should be sacked before the Slovakia game. He's made so many bizarre decisions, from persisting with Sterling to giving Kane corner/free kick duties, that I fear he's gone senile.
yorkblue Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Sterling has to be taken off. He contributes nothing at the moment. I would bring on Sturridge ahead of Vardy. There has been no space behind the Welsh defence and there will be even less now which takes a lot of Vardys threat away. England started to run out of ideas after 10 minutes and the tempo dropped continually. Possession but hardly any threat.
roverandout Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Hodgson is a dinosaur and needs replacing asap, @#/? spud, he's like a slightly better bowyer, bring in a foreign manager and sack the useless @#/?, absolutely no tactical brain

I remember similar comments to those regarding Owen in France 98 who Hoddle refused to start until he was forced to. All he is is. Quick. However when that ball drops loose in the box (which it has a couple of times) he's the most likely to be the first to react to it. However I would replace Kane / sterling with Sturridge and Vardy personally.

Sterling has been horrific in front of goal for years, no point getting him into these positions as 75% of the time he wastes the chance. In tournament football you just can't risk having somebody with such a lack of composure on the pitch.
