perthblue02 Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Polish fans wouldn't lob bottles at their own celebrating players though would they?! Maybe if they were full of Polish vodka

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted June 25, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted June 25, 2016 I wonder if Northern Ireland will give Will Grigg the chance to be on fire?
Audax Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 I feel kind of bad for Switzerland, they became the better team in that game. I think the shootouts sends everyone including the players to be so much on needles and pins, I doubt, generally speaking, a team would rub it in but they say Germany and Argentina had problems in '06 over that. I didn't pick NI but they might be a choice for an upset, they've played well. Hungary are doing well too, though they play Belgium tomorrow, the Magyars might do something.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Someone open a window, this game stinks.
donnermeat Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 2 mince teams with one superstar on the pitch Yes, Corry Evans is a cracker isn't he?
Gav Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Republic of Ireland fans only getting 4500 tickets for the France game out of 59,000 capacity. They had 25,000 at the last game! Thats a disgrace, not sure how they're getting away with that.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 I've nothing against Norn Irn but this game is screaming out for something, anything, from Bale, Ramsey or Allen. Dire stuff. Aussies will be sad to see the departure of Ned Kelly.
Stuart Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 The two Welsh lads have conned the ref there. No contact of any heads but forced the ref to halt play as NI were on the attack.
Audax Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 England could have been in that match; group B winner.
justjonny Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Jonny williams on loan? Just seen online he's been on loan quite a bit and only 22! A better mans Taylor, hard work but better skill
Doaksie Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 2 mince teams with one superstar on the pitch A career in football punditry awaits you. Very insightful. From a pool of 46 (if I recall correctly) professional players playing in the 4 leagues in England, and top 2 leagues in Scotland, I don't think we (Northern Ireland) can be too upset at getting to the last 16. The only negative is that a fantastic servant, Gareth McAuley appears to have signed out of International football in the worst way possible. A great achievement from such a small, and restricted nation. Plenty to be proud of, especially for a 'mince' (?) team....
chaddyrovers Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 What a load of rubbish the Wales Northern Ireland game was.
A cup of beans Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 And your point, Chaddy???? 2 small countries, with limited pools of talent. You'll be slagging off Iceland next

AllRoverAsia Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 What a load of rubbish the Wales Northern Ireland game was. Actually it was a tactical masterpiece by Michael O'Neill which almost worked. Football can be cruel. Great cross by Bale though and Hennessy's passing ability was sublime. He could have been a CB
Josh Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Kalinic replaced by Mandzukic, who has done nothing all tournament.
AllRoverAsia Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Beggar it I'm going to stay up and watch the 3rd game too. It's only 2am and I've only had 9 biguns.
