Yup, just can't get patriotic for the national team. The sheer hubris of our media despite having won feck all for 50 years is astounding.

You'd be booing most of this lot if we were still in the Premier League.

Absolutely pathetic. What's the use of qualifying with the best record in Europe if you choke at the tournament? Embarrassing. If we don't go through it's one of the worst shames I can recall supporting England.

@#/? terrible. I'd take joe hart off. Russia, bale goal and their 2nd even average keepers stop all 3. Let him concentrate on the important things like shampoo adverts.

Granted we are a young side but all this chopping and changing every game by Hodgson is doing is no favours.

In 1990 and 1996 Bobby Robson and Terry Venables, respectively, picked virtually the same XI each game. They both got momentum and got stronger and stronger each game as a team ethos developed.

This tournament we have watched collection of talented individuals struggle to gel in every game and are getting worse and worse. You get very few games in tournament football and Woy is approaching it like a 38 game season in La Liga.

We now have it all to do as Iceland are much more disciplined and hard working than us and will have banks of four to get through. We can only hope that they tire and Woy has the balls to bring Vardy and Lallana on when they do.

You quite simply can't account for a terrible goalkeeping error and awful defending from Kyle Walker, absolutely pathetic, amateurish.

Going forward Sterling looks a handful, Kane the same, but we've lost the plot, lost our shape, we needed half time.

I still think we'll win, but that 45 minutes was the worst of the tournament so far.

Hodgson is to blame, we are 2 1 down against a one dimensional average team, not Germany or France, there's still time, we lack a killer goal scorer, no punch in the last third

It's not just bad keeping though Gav, although that is a big problem. (Although Woy keeps picking him despite him looking to change his last name to James).

Too much chopping and changing from the Tinkewer.

How many mistakes must it take for Hart to be dropped for Forster? I'd have been ashamed of being beaten by that 2nd Icelandic goal.

And as for Walker's defending for their first.....
