Well done to Wales on an absolutely astounding achievement. They've managed to do what England haven't been able to do for 20 years; reach the semifinal of a major tournament.

It just goes to remind us once again that putting the highest paid players in the world together does not automatically equate to a good team. You need teamwork, intelligence, and desire to go with it. Wales, amongst others, certainly had that in this tournament. Kudos to them.

This may be off topic, but hayho, I was in my local tonight watching the EURO's when a bloke came in and showed me a photo he'd taken. It was of a Rovers shirt which was on display at the Scottish football hall of fame. He was astounded that I immediately recognised it as a 1960 FA cup shirt. I then explained it had a town crest rather than a club badge . The rest of the pub still called me an English @#/?

Why? I am English, and by the way, I am proud of it!

And rightly so rigger. 21 years I've been putting up with sh1t like that, and often from so-called professional people who are supposed to know better! I really hope we d1ck them in November!

Must admit I'm @#/? delighted Wales lost. I don't buy into this home nations love in. Particularly when the rest of them revel in England's shortcomings. Only problem is I dislike Portugal, Germany and France.

I'd rather Wales won than Ronaldo and his faggots. Can't stand the prancing git.

In reality I always want a 'home nation' to do well -- and I have to say even if it's Scotland. That incudes RoI.

I have no plans to stay awake until a 2am (Bkk time ko) for a Final involving the very mediocre Portugal...mind you I can watch it on playback in the morning.

I expect Portugal will send the F.A., Hodgson and the English team crates of wine as thanks for feckin up England.

Congrats Portugal; sure, Portugal will be the underdog in the final.

Is Pepe known for a lot of red cards, he is a very good defender but was not in today's match. It has been difficult for Portugal to stay up with the top nations.

Wales really really needed Ramsey out there, the match wasn't too exciting really. But Ce La Vie.

Tremendous effort from Wales but they were never going to win without Ramsay.

People pointing out Portugal 's ridiculously easy run to the final are right. That would have been England' s if Woy had tried to win against Slovakia and kept the side he stumbled across in the second half against Wales.

Not much use having an easy run when you can't even beat Iceland though really eh?

Think we would have beaten Northern Ireland, but not gotten any further. In a way I'm glad we went out to Iceland, as it left Roy and his supporters with no excuses. He had to go, forget discussing a new contract. One of the only positives to come out of our tournament.

I love watching Germany.

I might fly out to a few Bundersleague, or lower, with friends next season.

Better than watching @#/? at the dump.

You'll need a few friends first :tu:
