No chance they'll win against Leeds and I think it might well be for the best if it in some way gets rid of that tosser.

Evans has started well at Leeds. Two successive away draws in a week and he's only been in charge for six days !

Leeds haven't won at home so far this season - now then, who's up next at Elland Road.

I am with you - if another defeat sees off Bowyer then bring it on.

Can anyone explain to me what another manager would have done today?

I cant think of too much

Think you are missing the point a little. Can't fault the players too much today but the facts don't lie. The ifs buts and maybes mean nowt when the main fact is 2 wins in 14. Doesn't matter if you play well in defeat on a regular basis...if you are playing well and it's not enough to win a football match to the tune of 2 wins in 14 then does that not tell you that the current setup isn't working??? If this is the best the team can achieve under Bowyer then is it not time to try something (or someone) different?

Countless teams have played well and lost and got themselves relegated over the years. What we need is ruthlessness that we aren't getting into the team with the current manager or coaching staff.

It's the exact opposite to what Burnley got today, they have been pretty decent so far this season, but played poorly today and won, arguably because the players have a better belief in themselves because of their manager.

This defeat should've seen Bowyer off (not saying it hasn't yet but I am doubtful), and he should've resigned/been sacked long ago. Don't think one more defeat will be the straw that breaks the camel's (or chicken's) back in this case, what with our current owners and clueless exec board and chairman

For one take akpan and delfouneso off sooner put Conway on left marshall on right. Here's the irony he shouldn't have taken akpan off vs MK Dons as that day he was the best player on the pitch. But that's management making the correct tactical decisions on each game. Something bowyer seems incapable of doing.

Perhaps instil some sort of passion and pride.

Here's a thought have a plan A even better a plan b or even c.

People applauding at the end somewhat shocked me. We've just lost to our rivals for the 2nd time running, and you applaud our team? What Sambo mentioned about people mocking him with his head in his hands is downright not on.

Too right, I was amazed myself. Like saying "it's ok to get beat boys, we don't mind, carry on". I mind, in fact i more than mind, specifically when it comes to that lot. No wonder we only had 15,000 today, I recon that isn't too bad given we have that bell*nd in charge. Crap football, no ambition for himself, for the club or in his football. Cannot and will not accept someone like that as manager of Blackburn Rovers, never mind one who doesn't have the bottle to get a result against our fierce rivals.

Gary Bowyer just RESIGN.

Not assembled the weakest squad Ive seen in 25 years at Ewood?

Played players in their proper positions.

When we went behind, make changes straight away, not wait another 10-15 minutes.

''Can anyone explain to me what another manager would have done today?'' - Played Henley at RB and Marshall up the field. That's so feckin basic. Delfy benched or better still let out to go bling shopping.

Sadly there is more chance of me being appointed manager at Rovers than of Bowyer being sacked. The tw-ts in Pune don't watch the games imho and there's nobody to sack him.

Edit: as soon as I posted I saw ''Gary Bowyer just RESIGN'' and misread it. Almost fell over.

He'll have them fired up good and proper, they'll see it as a big opportunity for them.

in an indirect way yes they can, if they're loud enough for the media outlets to pick up and report about then it would be very hard for even the venkys to ignore the reports and eventually they would have to take action.

If you're really suggesting that we just do nothing and accept this crap then you have been defeated.

I'm not accepting anything, just saying it as it is. Its not like the days when jack was in the stands and noted the fans..

Also it was clear from very early on today that Delfy out of position simply wasn't working and he should have been replaced from half time or even earlier. I can't believe that out of the 13 midfield options GB assembled over the summer he is the best option wide left. Its almost like having signed him in the summer he's just giving him a run out to keep him happy. Happy days down at Brockhall holiday camp.

Yes you're right chaddy.

We've got post after post saying play Henley at right back, we've had weeks and weeks of the same people saying drop Henley!

The majority of the players are cr@p, the managers cr@p, the boardrooms useless and that's down to 3 stooges with their thumbs up their arses in Pune.

Not started with a right winger at full back and moved the out of position fullback up to the wing when we were chasing the game.

I can see why you are supportive of him if that didn't jump out at you.

Swapped Evans for Williamson as Evans played poorly. Gone 3 at the back and pushed Olsson and Marshall up. Put Delfy up front to have more than Rhodes to occupy them. Options were there.

One thing that hacks me off is people saying it's 2 wins in 14. The bigger picture is 3 SEASONS OF UNDER ACHIEVEMENT.

Bowyer out.

Another thing that illustrated perfectly that GB shouldn't be in charge, was the conduct of Hanley when he survived a penalty shout in the first half. Probably the correct shout but annoyed that Barton claimed he waited until the ref turned his back then deliberately tripped Barton up as he finally went to run back. A complete lack of discipline and a stonewall penalty in itself if any of the officials had spotted it.

Can you imagine him doing that with a "proper" manager like Clough or Fergus on in charge? The players don't care badly enough. We lose, so what?

I wouldn't agree that the majority of the players are crap, particularly the first 11. They're just lacking leadership and a clear style of play.

2 wins out of 14 ? Is not good enough Bowyer has taken us far as he can

Venkyscum out ! Shaw out ! Myers out ! Bowyer out !!!

You stick your head in a vapour of Magic mushrooms !

Wake up and smell the coffee !!!

We are going bust and relegation is beckoning !

Are you genuinely happy st this season ?

I wish Bowyer had half of your passion for this club.

Exactly Gav.

Marshall in the last 2 games he has been good AT right back.

People have guess at what other managers might have done.

I don't know what another manager might have done because I'm not psychic, but I know our current manager continues to drop points game after game. Let's deal in facts not bulls***.

  • Backroom

Marshall got skinned twice today by Scott fecking Arfield, he's hardly set the world alight in that position. If a lazy, wasteful winger is a better right back than Henley then we had better ship the kid off ASAP, as he must be useless.
