Jock Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Liverpool robbed from pillar to post by the referee. 3 clear handballs not given. Sevilla are a diving, defensive, boring team that deserve nothing. Now that's sarcasm

yoda Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 TEXTING HAHAHAHAH Had a scouser in earlier before the game for a takeaway, shirt and everything, he said have you seen the tele, there must be 50k reds there tonight, had to bite my tongue (I was thinking, not often you see that, a scouse dingle)
West Yorks Rover Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Quiet really. Probably doing that under rated midfield role of closing everyone and everything down but you rarely see him on the ball. Seville have some very good players mind you. Yeah they must have something about them, they look like winning their 3rd consecutive Europa cup, not easy that.
joey_big_nose Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 The second goal by sevilla was exceptional. They deserve it on balance despite the hand ball calls. Liverpool did well to get this far to be honest. They need a bit of a rethink. Suprised how poor coutinho has been. On the plus side Sturridge looks sharp. Shame they have given him little quality in the second half.
Backroom DE. Posted May 18, 2016 Backroom Posted May 18, 2016 Liverpool will be a stronger proposition next season, I'd imagine. Villareal embarrassed themselves, but Sevilla were never going to let Liverpool have an easy ride.
perthblue02 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Think Liverpool are preparing us for a England collapse in similar style next month
ABBEY Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 i wonder if robbie fowler backed coke to score ?, Odds wernt to be sniffed at!!!!!
joey_big_nose Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Think Liverpool are preparing us for a England collapse in similar style next monthIt was a very England performance it has to be said!
AllRoverAsia Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Think Liverpool are preparing us for a England collapse in similar style next month Yes I think you are right. No way am I staying up this late during the Euros. Still trying to work out why I did tonight Anyway I'll stay up and watch Stanley in extra-time Kolo Toure was LaPools best player............that kind of sums it up.
speeeeeeedie Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Klopp's magic didn't work at halftime. They were shocking in the second half and deserved to lose. His first job this summer should be to find a new left back. Moreno gets caught out time and again. It was his fault for the first, and he nearly caused 2 more. It is unfortunate that refereeing decisions had a bearing on the game. Liverpool were denied 2 stonewall penalties. If those were given the game would have been over at half time.

Moreno was unbelievably bad. One of the worst performances I have seen in a while.
West Yorks Rover Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Serves British football right for taking Euro football off free to air tv. Man City and the others flop in the Champs Lge, and L/pool, Man U and Spuds all flops in this. Btw our media will soon be back to treating this competition with disdain, as they have for years, until Man U and the scousers were drawn together. Apart from CH5 of course.

Backroom Tom Posted May 18, 2016 Backroom Posted May 18, 2016 I like Klopp but no trophies and no Europe next season, not all that magic. Bloody entertaining though
roverandout Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 The ref was a clown, Seville players diving soft @#/?, though to be honest la liga is light years ahead of the premiership
Baz Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Some second half performance from Sevilla, could have scored 5 or 6 to be fair. Glad for N'Zonzi.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Don't know what happened to Liverpool second half - they lost all the intensity that had given them first half dominance. They were always going to lose it as soon as the commentators started going on about history being on Liverpool's side - first to score always wins, nobody won UEFA Cup three in a row etc etc.
JohnD Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Apart from a ten minute spell they were never really in it. Good times ahead for them though, I love the pressing game
gumboots Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I was pleased for Gameiro. I watched him as a young player at Lorient. Nice guy.
koi Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Shame, that trophy would've looked good in the anfield trophy cabinet, right next to the PL trophy. Oh yeah, I was forgetting...
mhead Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 N'Zonzi won a medal....happy for him. Joins a very small list of players doing well after leaving Rovers. Peter Dobing,Roy Vernon,Mike England...................David May(at least in the team photos)
