Mike Graham Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Instead of former players I was just thinking about whatever happened to some of the old timers on here: Broken Picture Frame (then BPF) who went to NYC Split Screen Jan Jordan (never missed a game for years) Blue Phil Etc etc etc I realise a lot of Rovers fans have walked away never to return until the V's have gone but not sure about the above and many more.

Claytons Left Boot Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Pennyduff (my old mate Bjarte from Norway) and Cheshire Blue? HOTSPOT, who was on the Turkey trip. Came in the taxi back to the airport with us. Lived in Derby I seem to remember. Didn't you know him GAV?
Mattyblue Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 John Tony Gale's Mic Bucky dereyck guyler's spoon
davulsukur Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Rebelmswar. Always put some unbelievably good posts on here. (Not sure he's an old timer as such.)
Mike Graham Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 Leon Trotsky? Do you mean Jez Corbyn is a Rovers fan? What about Eddie? Was he living in Paris?
Mike Graham Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 BPF was a good poster I agree. Whatever happened to Hughsey. A million posts per day (almost) then pop he has gone.
sambo Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I agree. Whatever happened to Hughsey. A million posts per day (almost) then pop he has gone. Hughesy reminded me of an eloquent, more rational version of Chaddy. He was an extremely positive fan who saw everything through blue and white tinted specs. Not the worst thing I guess. Sometimes see his posts on Twitter.
Roverall Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Going back years there was a guy called Anti Euro Smiths Fan. He could rant with the best of 'em...
Gav Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Pennyduff (my old mate Bjarte from Norway) and Cheshire Blue? HOTSPOT, who was on the Turkey trip. Came in the taxi back to the airport with us. Lived in Derby I seem to remember. Didn't you know him GAV? Not heard from Simon in a long time. Yes you're right he lived in Derby but had family in Bburn. I know he started going to watch England with Waggy at one stage, but that was the last I heard of him, that may say more about Waggy than anything else 😂
Amo Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 LeChuck was another quality poster who went bye-bye.
Beta Ray Bill Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Jordan travels the country (well Northern-ish parts) avidly supporting his local team, Harrogate Town. His young son is equally enamoured with them too.

We bought all his beer one trip to Sofia because he was skint, only to see him spend £100 the last day on duty free fags! Debs saved him that afternoon, I was bloody fuming 😂

Debs saved him that afternoon, I was bloody fuming I know a few who've gone down the Chorley route following them all over and whilst I partly understand it I can't get over them decked out in black and white whilst Rovers are playing at home.
Baz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 To be fair to Jordan, he's a Harrogate lad, so at least its a logical connection.
roverandout Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Whatever happened to that much loved and respected Nicko, goodness I miss him
47er Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 To be fair to Jordan, he's a Harrogate lad, so at least its a logical connection. And we can hardly call him a glory hunter! (Unless he just supported us in the 90's)
perthblue02 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 He got an ice pick That made his ears burn
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Haven't seen Fife Rover post for a long time. I still thinks he views the forum but doesn't post much if at all like a lot of people.
oldjamfan1 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I haven't seen Fife on the trains back up to Scotland for a while either, hope he's ok. He's a lovely guy but not getting any younger. There were another couple of regulars on that train that rarely go to games now, and who can blame them, the handful of us that do are the ones who want seeing to, I would suggest!!
Amo Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 colin By the way, it's good to have you back, Matty. If more members like you decided to make a comeback, this site would better for it.
