Why fire the whole lot besides Bowyer if they had no one prepped and ready ? Are they hoping Kinder repeats history and does a Bowyer from his initial stint . Maybe the backroom staff said they were walking if Gaz was a goner, what's the odds on a complete U-turn :o

Don't think Dave Jones would be bad but he's been out a bit now hasn't he ?

Sounds like they got a tentative verbal agreement from Lambert, sacked Bowyer and his staff, and are now finding that Fulham/QPR have suddenly sprung into action...

Seems like they never learn. How they run a business I'll never know. In my my old line of work I wouldn't send them to the chip shop for the lunches. Now that we look like we've made a balls of this who are we left with ? The guy in Israel won't come, Moyse will probably have bigger fish to fry.

David Jones- no thanks. I'd rather have Sherwood.

Fulham

Pros: -Some good players and not a bad squad

-Rich owner who isn't tight

-In London

-Fairly stable board

Cons:-Owner has fired a few managers in a short time

-Training facilities may be average

-Possibly facing an embargo in the near future

QPR

Pros:-In London

-Rich owner

-Immune from embargo

-Some good players

Cons:-Squad has been underperforming/unmotivated for years

- Players on big contracts are hard to remove

-Board and finances unstable

Blackburn

Pros:- Jordan Rhodes

-Brilliant training facilities and potentially decent youth set up

-Owners usually give the manager time

Cons:-Embargo in place

-Potential for a massive financial sh-tstorm

-Mental owners and a board of misfits and square pegs

So which do we expect Lambert to go for?

So we've now left Marks & Spencers and heading towards Primark.

I imagine it is panning out something like this.

Lambert was lined up as a shoe in when Bowyer sacked. Shaw has got wind that he is on the way out and will have promised India thar only he can deliver a huge name in Moyes. Lambert will have been left in limbo for 24 hrs and is now showing an interest in other positions. Meanwhile Moyes will have no intention of coming.

End result: Lambert goes elsewhere. Moyes takes over somewhere like Newcastle. Shaw is sacked. We spend weeks finding an MD before we can appoint a manager. Meanwhile, Kinder takes 9 points out of the next 12 and gets the gig.

@#/? off Fulham, @#/? off qpr, you ain't got no premier league history, no trophies, says a lot when now we are competing with two London minnows, 5 years ago we would have wiped the floor with them, thanks venkys

Do you know anything about football history at all ? Both those clubs have been pretty successful at top level in the past.

An extra pro for Rovers would be total control over the running of the club (although the lack of help from the "boardroom" could also be a con...)

The problem with all this twitter rumour nonsense is people lose the plot and think 24hrs is a lifetime. I hope it is Lambert or someone else worthy but I'm not going to get stressed out until (if and when) they drop a clanger.

Stay calm folks, plenty of managers out there that all have more experience at promotion than Bowyer therefore most of them have better CV's than Bowyer... When he was in charge a lot of us were saying "just employ anybody with a track record at this level" and just as long as we get that then we should try and be happy with it.
