The honeymoon hasn't lasted long with some fans! What did we expect, miracles? It will take time!!! 4 points from 6 isn't that bad.

66% win ratio, when was the last time we had that ?

It'll take a while to get "Bowyers mentality" out of the players but I'm still very hopeful about the future. But considering with 5 minutes to go we were winning Burnley losing 2-0 and both drew I'm gutted.

It is when you could easily have had 6 from 6 if you could have gone without conceding a goal for 5 minutes more.

Hope Lambert can sort out the leakage of goals towards the ends of half time/full time.

We've played average for 2 games and got 4 points - that's not bad. I feel under Bowyer we would have got 2 points with talk of a great unbeaten run rather than dropping points at home.

Simply have to win at Bristol though.

We will score a winner/equaliser in the last five minutes ourselves at some point. Conceding in the 85 min shouldn't be any different from conceding in the 65 but it is I know. Football sucks sometimes...

i see it's still Bowyer's fault we didn't win. Brilliant :D

Not a bad point against an in form team but Lambert was brought in to turn the draws we were getting under Bowyer into wins. It will take time and it's good to see the CM's scoring, something we've not had for a long time...big positive that.

Didn't go today so how did we play?

Posters on here need to grow up. It's his SECOND game in charge "it's not a disaster" "it'll take time" for god's sake !

Jesus calm down yourself, no one has said it was a disaster.

Amazed that folk are getting annoyed at people being frustrated from 2 points dropped with five mins to go.

I stubbed my toe last night, forgive me for shouting @#/? will you.

To be fair, a lot of people have already written this season off, so nothing to be disappointed about. Maybe I should do the same, expect nothing and you won't be disappointed by anything, I suppose.

correct

tell that to the clowns on here who said we would win by 2 to 3 goals

Mercer needs banning from match predictions. It's the kiss of death

Not good enough, but how many times have we said that this season? Another two points dropped at home.

At least Lambert will have learned a few truths about the mental state of the players he has to work with. Conditioned to accept a draw as a good result and without the balls to see out victories. It's been the same old story for so long now, it'll take a long time to change that mentality. With some of them it may never change.

It'll be interesting to see what he says in the post match interviews. We know what we'd hear from Bowyer - "right good go, deserved the win, ref was poor", etc. Hopefully Lambert tells it like it is.

Guthrie coming on for Conway hardly showed that the manager was pushing for the third - strange substitution for me.

Wednesday are on a good run, we're blowing hot and cold. The habit of dropping deeper and deeper when we're winning is pretty well engrained and will take some shifting. Having hardly any pace up front doesn't help. I'd have taken a draw at 3.00 but not at 4.45. That's football though. It took Souey a good while to change the " quitters " mentality he inherited and he'd better players to work with than Lambert has. Two goals from midfield is a plus. But the porous defence at home is still there.

Sounds like he was trying to squeeze the middle of the park. Understandable if we had a reliable defence, but seeing as we don't it would have been better to make a more positive substitution.

Saying that, he didn't have much to choose from. Better Guthrie coming on than Brown. Hopefully our lack of quality be addressed in January, if we're out of the embargo.

Gutted about the draw because I don't understand the nature of the equaliser.

Our captain and best defender was on the floor in the Oppo box, eventually needing 2 medics to help him walk.

If he was fouled, I'm @#/? off at the draw. If he wasn't then we've been unfortunate. Either way we didn't seem organised for it.

Thought we were good value for 3 points on that performance, Taylor and Akpan being my joint MOTM today.

Wednesday are slow to come out of the blocks, but tend to finish strong (ref. match preview

), so it was always going to be tough to keep the lead. Vitally important not to drop all points against the teams around us. Rome wasn't built in a day, we're not even halfway through a long season.
