SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Possibly PL. He mentioned how he wants the BBE to be a wall of noise. Indicated that he would prefer it of all the singers were there. He is clearly used to noisier fans.Worse thing that ever happened to the atmosphere at Ewood was the splitting up of the singer's from the BBE.The few Rovers who do sing in the Darwen End are usually drowned out by a 1000+ away following...it's shyte!

LewisF Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I'm aware of that, I'm referring back to the last time we made the mistake of playing music when we scored. It's horrific.ah right. It doesn't really bother me personally tbh
gumboots Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 No it doesn't bother me either. In fact I didn't really notice it. I was too busy yelling myself

Long time since Ewood has been like that and a very long way to go before it even resembles that again sadly. If he and the team do their bit the fans will do theirs you would hope.
old darwen blue Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 And the reason that those that actually wanted to sing at the games moved to the Darwen End was? Its only been this season that that I can actually hear the Blackburn End singing from my seat in the Darwen End.
Pedro Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 No it doesn't bother me either. In fact I didn't really notice it. I was too busy yelling myself The best sound I can remember at Ewood was when Dunn slotted home his offside equaliser against Burnley a few years ago. Pure joy and craziness followed by people clutching their heads as they were in pain with celebrating so much. I live for moments like that and for me, music in those moments takes the edge off.
tomphil Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I don't know why they've brought it back at all. One of the most corny things is when you see the dingles on tv playing the same song after a goal that they have been doing for over 15 yrs. A 1970's song started after goals by Wigan when they moved into the JJB, even they binned it off after a while I think.
chor808 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I didn't notice the music after the goal but it needs to stop now. I hate that idea. The game was pretty grim but as someone else pointed out I never felt we would lose. One comment on Brown, he did look a donkey when he came on but we did seem to push them back once he came on. I think someone of his type (big and strong) with some skill will do nicely in the Jan window. Let's make it three wins tonight.
blueboy3333 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes the crowd tend to chant the tune to that in the Bundesliga. Not sure which teams specifically but it seems to be popular over there.
Backroom Mike E Posted December 14, 2015 Backroom Posted December 14, 2015 Walk-on music and music for wins at FT. That's all there should be.
LewisF Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I think Chelsea Dagger is really nice when we win. Especially when we won against Stoke in the FA cup, that was just a fantastic day
