Bucksrover Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Chrissy Brown hatrick tonight.. 4-0 to RoversCouple of drinks for Friday lunch?! Just want a win in fixtures like this. Manner or margin not important. 3 points!
cesus Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Is there anywhere to put a bet on inside riverside stand like there is jack Walker stand? If you come in via the Blackburn end turnstile there is a kiosk just next to the refreshment stand. I think that's still open!!
Butty Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 There are never any easy games in this league! But as in any league, you've got to be expecting to beat a side near the bottom of the league when you're the home side, I think we'll win but not a thumping by any means. 2-0 Rovers Conway and Rhodes. 12.5k on the ground. COYB!
Blue Cabbage Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I have a really bad gut feeling we will lose to a matt Derbyshire goal Doubt he'll start has a knock and don't think Redfearn is a fan
The_Expert Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Hmm, although the conditions aren't 'nice', it is better to be running up and down (and getting paid handsomely for it) than to be immobile and anxious on the periphery. I'm not expecting Rotherham to dazzle us with scintellating skills or flashy footwork, and neither am I expecting them to clog us off the park. What I am expecting is that Mr Lambert will have sufficient connection with his players by now to be able to exhort a little bit extra quality out of them, and that in the final analysis will be what is the difference between the teams on the night. 1-0 or 2-1 to Rovers, but wouldn't be surprised to see us go behind early and have to go balls out and gung ho for an equaliser. On a night like tonight that might actually make for a better spectacle than anything else. COYB
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Like previous posters have already said, I would take a 1-0 win right now as the points matter the most at the end of the day. It's going to take time for Lambert to mold this team into how he wants them to play. This is the type of game we should be looking to win, the playoff gap has closed and another win should keep the pressure on those above us going into this weekend's games. You can't underestimate any team in this league and I am confident Lambert won't.
BlueMonday Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Dont do score predictions, but with recent events and optimism this is a game you'd be gutted not to get 3 points from. Which for Rovers supporters is dangerous territory! Im also bemused about 2 games in 4 days. Surely the game from this weekend should be pulled to the Monday!?
Blue blood Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 First off the bad - thought this was on tv and Monday's game wasn't - doh! Even has convinced the Mrs to go watch it in the pub (no mean feat since the last time I convinced her was the Bolton borefest.) Positive - Lambert's blue n white army will grind out the win. Rotherham are a weak team in an otherwise competitive division, Bolton being the other exception. Don't expect us to not punish poor opposition under the Lambert regime so a solid 2-0 win to Rovers, Rhodes and Conway scoring.
AJW Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 its a game we should win comfortably , however an early goal is imperative , get that and we could go on to get 3 or 4
Brown-E Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 3-1, matt derbyshire to give Rotherham half time lead. Rovers to come back with 3 second half. Team news- rovers unchanged from bristol city.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Can't make it tonight, and two home games on a Friday/Monday night isn't ideal at any time - I presume that this fixture was ear marked as tomorrow's 3 o'clock kick off, but as Sky have picked us for the Monday fixture, this was the compromise. Expect a first home win under PL, and 6-points over the 4-days would be an early Xmas present. Jordan is due? Rovers to win by 2.
Bucksrover Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 3-1, matt derbyshire to give Rotherham half time lead. Rovers to come back with 3 second half. Team news- rovers unchanged from bristol city. Hope we have lenihan or someone else young with potential on the bench soon
Brown-E Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Hope we have lenihan or someone else young with potential on the bench soon Think Lambert is sticking with the proven experienced types for now. The likes of lenihan will get their chance in time. Patience.
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2015 Backroom Posted December 11, 2015 Can't argue with an unchanged team, my first time seeing a Lambert team, any sort of win please! 3-1 Rhodes, Duffy, Brown
bubblerrovers Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 What's happening at rovers? Free mince pie with your pies, Freddo giving out free chocolates, club offering ewood to Carlisle, whole first team squad at the disability Xmas party, some serious PR offensive going on
Fraserkirky Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Anyone nice out there wanna message me a link?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 An attempt to get the fans back....Christ we need them by the look of things tonight!

Mercer Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Narrow hard fought win tonight. Brown to notch a winner. With Rovers' current run, 4/6 to win isn't a bad bet.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Rovers all over the place at the back.
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2015 Backroom Posted December 11, 2015 Too casual at the back early on and Steele just ran out for no reason giving them a good chance
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Rotherham pressing very high. Our defence dont know what to do. Hanley did well to clear off line.
