deryck guyler's spoon Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Lambert has a history of signing players from lower league clubs. Did so at Norwich and Villa. I think we should be looking for gems from the lower league clubs aswell from players out of favour at PL Clubs We should but we don't. Norwich have just snapped up a kid from York and a young lad has just gone from Newport to Wolves. B*ly also had bids turned down for him. We seem to be bringing in players whose careers have stalled or are on a downward trajectory.

47er Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Agreed. Creative midfielder the priority by far for me. Oh for a Duggie! I suppose I should be grateful to see 1 number 10 like that in my lifetime.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Looks like Chaddy has a new suitor. Put him on ignore ffs.

I watched the football league highlights every week. Plus the football league paper every week. Maybe we will look to sign Rico Henry from Walsall as Olsson replacement..attacking full back currently playing wing back for his team. Here an article about him http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3411067/Walsall-defender-Rico-Henry-small-speedy-like-England-great-Kenny-Sansom.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Neal Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Anthony Modeste, Two Rovers rejects doing well... He and Mame Diouf are the reason why I will continue to believe that Koita can offer something for us... Our fans are so quick to write players off, Modeste and Diouf were frustrating players but with the correct players are around them are good players. Koita has something for me and seeing as season is pretty much over I'd be giving him every chance to find form or loan him out to league 1.
Spalding Rover Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 islander has a point! a very good point. he doesn't no the player so how can he recommend them?!?!?!?! he sits on internet reading what someone else says and uses it as his own?????

Because it's an open forum and you only seem to post when you are having a go at that poster. There's enough following him around with a hard on as it is without you jumping on the bandwagon. Neal Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Ben Foster would be a good upgrade on Steele, only played 1 game behind Myhill and still at a great age for a keeper.

deryck guyler's spoon Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 oh i get it, back him so you can use his sad life to make yours easier! I'm a terrible human being. Is Steele that poor that he needs replacing, given that even in the summer window we have finite resources?

G Somerset Rover Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Foster's been out for ten months with an injury and that was his first game back. Not a cat in hells chance that we could get him.
Neal Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Is Steele that poor that he needs replacing, given that even in the summer window we have finite resources? In my opinion yes. He makes my blood boil abd keepers you can usually ger either cheap or even free. Perhaps a keeper might not be priority but we certainly shouldnt ve settling for Jason Steele. Foster's been out for ten months with an injury and that was his first game back. Not a cat in hells chance that we could get him. Fair one, thought he was just out of favour.
Spalding Rover Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm a terrible human being. Is Steele that poor that he needs replacing, given that even in the summer window we have finite resources? that will explain why you was shipped off to australia!
deryck guyler's spoon Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 that will explain why you was shipped off to australia! I console myself that at least I'm not in Spalding 😉 In my opinion yes. He makes my blood boil abd keepers you can usually ger either cheap or even free. Perhaps a keeper might not be priority but we certainly shouldnt ve settling for Jason Steele. I've only seen a bit of him and he seemed adequate. I think an adequate keeper will do us for the time being but if you reckon he's a liability then fair enough, you see much more of him than me.
Spalding Rover Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 if everyone still got shipped over to australia for being a 'terrible human' spalding would be empty!
