At the moment I'd say Hanley is our best player and the one most likely to make a go of it in the Prem. He's playing better than Scott Dann ever did for us.

I find it utterly astonishing that Dann is being mentioned as a player who may go to Chelsea or Liverpool. He looked like he couldn't stop a pig in a ginnel on numerous occasions at Rovers.

I don't think there was ever much question about danns ability, it was more that he clearly hated being here from day 1 and it showed in his performances.

For actual Dingles, I can kind of see where's he coming from, but Charlie Austin as an example, he's from Berkshire and had a shortish spell there a few years back.

Well we'd probably take a punt on someone cheap and young who might notch a few and increase in value. Second to that would be one or two maybe like Vaughan, Wells who've proven to score goals in this div but are injury prone and you'll get nowhere near the Rhodes level of goals or appearances.

Burnley had to invest 3 mill plus contract on Grey to more or less guarantee goals, can you actually see that happening here ?

Tomphil, i was kinda being tongue in cheek, and i think Bumley spent a lot more than 3mill on andre Grey, try 6/7 according to the bumley fans here at work.plus his wages. (or do you just mean his wages)
