As long as he has never played for Norwich...

or Livingstone, Wycombe Colchester presumably, where do we stand on Villa players?

Are we against any Norwich signings or just ones that were there when Lambert was, do they have to be Lambert signings at Norwich or anyone who was there, inherited or otherwise.

I think its important we set some parameters so I can display the appropriate level of disgust?

Where do we stand on holidays or day trips to Great Yarmouth? Do they count?

:) Villas ex-players may be preferable to those from Wycombe and Colchester. As long as they have never worn that sickly canary yellow!

Day trips to Yarmouth certianly don't count. They haven't heard of motorways in that neck of the woods and seem to love sitting in traffic on the A14 and A17.

don't forget they're not allowed to have ever passed through burnley on any form of transport as they might now be contaminated. Honestly, if someone comes in and does a better job than what we already have I don't care who or what they are, where they're from or who signed them from where, when. I just want to see my team won matches at the moment. Time to get picky when we're winning more than were losing and even then ......

Why are we after a number 10?

We are clearly going to play 2 up front and we have 0 good central midfielders, surely we need 2 of them and a left back first?

Because we have no flair or somebody who can put his foot on the ball and deliver an attacking pass in the team.

I am not generally itk but am hearing that the McGeady move is trying to get pushed through today. This is from a usually reasonable source.

Am I the only one a little surprised at the potential McGeady move - especially after bringing in Bennett I would have thought there were other areas of the team needing improvement rather than yet more wingers.

Not saying he isn't better than what we have - just that there are other areas (like a creative midfield player and left back) that are more urgent.

I shouldn't think we need Charlton's unwanteds. And I don't think we need to replace Koita either. Rhodes, Graham, Brown and Delfouneso is enough to be getting on with. Youth strikers like Lewis Mansell if we have a crisis (or an emergency loan).

I don't think he is unwanted down to lack of quality I think its more to free up a wage. He did really well in his first season at Charlton and Cardiff who are far better placed than Charlton have been keen to sign him permanently. I've seen him a few times for Celtic and he's quick and a bit of a nuisance too, shades of the Craig Bellamy about him. Would certainly give us another option up top and much needed pace. An attack Rhodes, Graham and Watt doesn't look to shabby at all.
