Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 There's definitely a danger that today's result gives people the impression that we don't need any more players this window. As far as I'm concerned not for a minute. I must have said this a thousand times, centre midfield.

LDRover Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Has a look of Steven Ireland who is also heavily tattooed He played for Stoke this afternoon.
Amo Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Kind of looks like Jamie O'Hara but I don't think it's him.
Lancaster Rover Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 He played for Stoke this afternoon. I just meant in a general sense, honest......

sharpysharps Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Fox is fine for cover on a short term deal if Spurr can kick on and get back to where he was in his first season pre injury. Just worries me that he might not be able to get back to that solid form on a consistent basis. Fox strikes me as the kind of player who could be great at one club and pants at another....like a lot of footballers out there. He obviously hasn't had a great time of it at Forest but prior to that he has been a success at Southampton and 'them lot' in this division. Sounds like the player we have missed out on is McGeady. Hopefully we have a couple of aces up our sleeve on Monday.
koi Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 That teardrop tat denotes something much worse than mere criminality (and I don't just mean Sellick) Think that's when it's on the cheek under the eye.
pick32 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Yeah, I'll choose to take Paul Lamberts opinion on what he needs thanks.. Sorry must of mistaken this for a forum were you can post an opinion like have for the last 10+ years, my bad

chaddyrovers Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Looking at McGeady and Gibson http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6897787/Stoke-join-Everton-in-Andriy-Yarmolenko-hunt.html
arbitro Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 http://m.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/14242504.Paul_Lambert__Blackburn_Rovers_will_be_stronger_in_the_long_run_for_selling_Jordan_Rhodes/?ref=mac Key for me was 'I had a chat with Jordan and he wanted to go'. In today's football world that is all we should need to know.
Swanson Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Looking at McGeady and Gibson http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6897787/Stoke-join-Everton-in-Andriy-Yarmolenko-hunt.html Hasn't McGeady gone to Sheff Wed ?
Baz Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Looking at McGeady and Gibson http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6897787/Stoke-join-Everton-in-Andriy-Yarmolenko-hunt.html Id steer clear of Gibson given his injury record, McGeady Im not sure of, but he has the Euros to aim for, so should be motivated.
patrickvalery Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 This McGeady talk has rumbled on too long. If he's not interested then move on I reckon. Good pedigree but if he is reluctant then sod him. No room for anyone less than 100% committed. If the club was big enough to entice lambert then it's big enough to get some other big name. If its not McGeady then someone else. Gibson would be a no for me. Can't stay fit long enough to make a difference.
JAL Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Looking at McGeady and Gibson http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6897787/Stoke-join-Everton-in-Andriy-Yarmolenko-hunt.html Let them both rot at Wednesday !Have they moved Akpan on ?
islander200 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Let them both rot at Wednesday ! Have they moved Akpan on ? Who would you sign Jal?Seriously? And please don't talk in riddles or jibberish like you usually do
Backroom Tom Posted January 30, 2016 Backroom Posted January 30, 2016 Let them both rot at Wednesday ! Have they moved Akpan on ? Hope we don't go selling our best central midfielder!
JAL Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Who would you sign Jal?Seriously? And please don't talk in riddles or jibberish like you usually do Agbonlahor if Rovers could afford him. Good to see an experienced centre half alongside Grant
Butty Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Agbonlahor if Rovers could afford him. Good to see an experienced centre half alongside Grant Wouldn't want Agbonlahor, he's always been a player reliant on his electric pace and by all accounts he is nowhere near as quick as he once was, I'd stay clear personally.
roverandout Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 So a lot of quality players are passing rovers by who are moving to other championship clubs whilst rovers are sitting idly allowing their only decent player to move on, pull your finger out lambert
deryck guyler's spoon Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 So a lot of quality players are passing rovers by who are moving to other championship clubs whilst rovers are sitting idly allowing their only decent player to move on, pull your finger out lambert Blimey! Give the boss a break, he's just brought four in this window and one just scored on his debut!
Fraserkirky Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 McGeady would be great. Left back is a need.
