Can he play centre midfield ? If not we don't need him.

Can't see it happening anyway but the midfielder should really be coming in regardless of Rhodes going.

Have a sinking feeling we're not going to sign anyone tonight.

The Rhodes deal will have left it too late for us, and we'll have to go with what we've got until the summer (if Balaji hasn't spent it on some new bling).

That's a natural reaction with us. It would be near suicidal for Lambert though, we should have deals ready to go at a moments notice.

Isn't that what we are doing for Tony Watt. My reading was a loan deal with an agreed fee at the end of the season.

We can't have it both ways.

Far too quiet on incomings for us to do anything today. Would be surprised now to see any business other than the Rhodes sale. We are dealing with Derek Shaw after all to get things sorted.

Going off Lambert's statement yesterday, someone will be lined up.

Also, people saying that it is a farce that we aren't getting paid until the summer are being naive.

1. I don't think that is an abnormal thing, and it's hardly like giving £50 to a smack head who promises to pay in the summer.

2. It also helps us not getting held to ransom off clubs we might be buying players off.

Right now Rhodes finally gone get some 1st players in to keep us up instead of this journeyman dross so far this window!!

Watt has looked very good so far - Ward had a very good debut by all accounts - Graham ex-£5m player with a good record at this level.

Elliot & Jackson have shown enough in patches to justify bringing them in.

Which dross were you referring to ?
