G Somerset Rover Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 That was a gag. He's full of 'em. The only joke is him. I mentioned Gomez weeks ago. Would be pleased if he were to come in - finally a player to put his foot on the ball and play a pass. Now for some pace out wide, a left back and a striker (yes, I'm not asking much).

West Yorks Rover Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Jordi Gomez would be a cracking signing imo Looks to have a decent scoring record for a CM too.
Doug Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Sascha Petchi leaving - Rumour on FB Edit - Probably b@llox as I just noticed MGP returning rumour
Reedy You're A Star Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Paul Wheelock @PaulWheelock 2m 2 minutes ago And understand there will be another departure from #rovers tonight - midfielder Sacha Petshi, who has yet to make a first-team appearance.
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Can someone please post a two liner on jordi gomez's playing style for me? What will he bring to our midfield? Not knocking btw, genuine enquiry... can't remember seeing much of him.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Petschi supposed to be on way and one likely to come in tonight. Wheelock is source Damn you Reid! !
VinjayV4 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Wheelock expecting an incoming tonight hasn't clarified if its Gomez. Maybe its Pugsley.
yoda Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Theres only 4 surnames though. Peyton, Peyton, Peyton and Peyton

roversoutsider Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Can someone please post a two liner on jordi gomez's playing style for me? What will he bring to our midfield? Not knocking btw, genuine enquiry... can't remember seeing much of him. Not seen him play for Sunderland but I've always rated him from his time at Wigan. Can look up, pick a pass and has a pile driver of a shot on him. Will chip in with goals from midfield. Not the quickest and not defensive minded but still way better than our current CM's
Backroom Tom Posted February 1, 2016 Backroom Posted February 1, 2016 Petshi leaving is a disgrace. Disgusted in Lambert over this, made a rod for his own back now
perthblue02 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Can someone please post a two liner on jordi gomez's playing style for me? What will he bring to our midfield? Not knocking btw, genuine enquiry... can't remember seeing much of him. compilation of his time at the pie eaters
G Somerset Rover Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Sunderland fans not overly happy he's going without an incoming. They'd much prefer to sell Rodwell by the looks. Gomez and Akpan would definitely see us through until the summer.
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Thanks guys. A midfielder who's comfortable with the ball at feet is welcome.
yeti-dog Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Yeh think beating Oxford has gone to people's heads, can't seeing us getting a win this month and honesty can't see us staying in the division, Rhodes, Olsson, Lawrence and Koita out Bennet, Watt, Graham, Jackson, Ward in I'd take the squad we had in December. You really do tend towards the negative don't you???
frosty Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Jordi Gomez would be a proper signing, would be great to have somebody in the middle that can put their foot on the ball and pick out a pass. Bit of much needed guile.
roverandout Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Another underwhelming transfer window for rovers, when was the last good one?
