If that's it there is a very good chance we will go down watt has never hit double figures in the league for any club he's been at and graham has not scored regularly for years the other two I don't even count as strikers.

We have one left back who is garbage we have basically downgraded in every position possible bar possibly midfield where we look to be bringing in someone who's barely played in last couple of years.

If I was a season ticket holder I'd ask for half my money back if they have given up on this season why should fans not.

if we come out of this window weaker which at the moment its looking like it may well be squeky bum time

Gomez would be an excellent signing. I hope we're not going to blow a large chunk of the budget on temporary loan signings though, I can't imagine Premier League loans come cheap. More signings like Watt please.

A wide player who provides a goal threat is next on the list for me. No idea who though.

Not sure we are weaker. Gomez, Ward, Graham and Watt should all expect to be in the first team. We've lost our best finisher but improved almost everywhere else - with a good passer in midfield, pace up front and striker capable of holding the ball up, we should be a better team. Hopefully!

Currently Bolton who can't pay people at the club and are embargoed so much they are not allowed to sign players who will play for nowt have not weakened as much as rovers. But just think of all those emergency loans we can bring in.

We have the same midfield ..An untested strike partner ship ...weaker left back ...We are weaker for sure...We needed 2 or 3

er Gomez

Was Gianni Zuiverloon not at Celtic once? 29, don't know much else.

My 'GZ' guess.

I would say potentially stronger. We are on the verge of adding creativity and have added some pace and work rate up front. We are no longer one dimensional.

I would guess there is nothing at all in that link

Swapped goals for graft

I agree. For all the moaners saying we are definitely weaker and going down, the squad up to now had only managed to get us to the lofty heights of 18th place.

My personal opinion is we'll be fine until the summer especially if Gomez comes in.

I imagine the plan was McGeady and Gomez but mcgeady went to Wednesday

Looking like we will add Gomez..... we have added to our overall strikers in terms of ability ...... left back is better at the back and slower going forward, but with ultimately a more potent weapon in his throw than Olssons crossing.

For the first time in a long time you can see a clear plan of what has happened, stlye of play and not random signings all over the place.

Swapped goals for graft

Which i think we will lead to more team goals in the end.

Gómez makes us stronger in midfield, Ward makes us stronger at the back, but we are weaker up top. That's how I see it. If we could sign Clough then we would be stronger all round. Watt is a talented player though.

I expect more in

We'll have to start shifting some out if that's the case. With the exception of left back (assuming Henley covers Marshall at right back), we have at least two players for every position.
