Interesting to see Lawrence's loan has only been extended by a month. I guess it can easily be extended again til the end of the season though when that month is complete...or Leicester might want to see him play more games before agreeing to loan him til May.

Bennett is a little slower then Olsson amarillo.. He's been playing right back for Bristol.. So could be him and Olsson at full backs which is pretty decent

Thing is, it's not like Henley is a slouch. For some reason he gets a nosebleed everytime he ventures past the half-way line.

I imagine its one of two possibilities.

Either Leicester want to play it safe from their end, let him stay for the month and then decide at the end of that if he can stay until the summer. This will probably depend on how much he features for Rovers and what business Leicester do in January. If they are short on numbers at the end of the month or Lambert barely uses Lawrence then they can recall him.

Alternatively Rovers have only asked for a month for the time being to see how he goes on, and if Lambert isn't more impressed with him by the end of the month, or if Lambert succeeds in bringing in all of his transfer targets, then we can send him back without being committed to paying him for February to May.

Probably more likely to be the first of those options.

He's not a slouch no, but I believe his 'pace' is definitely overstated.

But the question is, is your dad bigger than his dad? :D

If you referring to me, my Dad passed away, but was a little guy. Think Abbey would have eaten him up :D;)

And even if we did go up we'd surely come down again...

Great point. If we are worried about not being able to get promoted because we can't keep up with the worst 3 PL teams this season. Then there's not much chance of competing with the rest.

Although with the prize money on offer its chicken and egg. That said, the parachute payments alone would keep us as a buoyant championship team for a few years to come - maybe even yo-yo.

So PL's very first signing is to be for money...if Sky are accurate. That's at the least very encouraging given the previous line about 'only loans'

lets not get too carried away .. 1- its sky sports 2 - he's hardly played for his parent club in the last 2 years 3 - he's out of contract in the summer , if there is a fee its probably nominal think Gestede and Conway fee's

I wonder if there was a sell on clause for Nick Blackman?

We sold him to Sheffield United though, doubt we will see any more money from his next transfer.

Bennett, Graham and Pilkington is not too bad. However, we then need to find a buyer for Brown, Delfy and Koita or something.

Likely see a small 1% - 2.5% of the fee if the transfer was done how 90% of all youth players sales usually are done in British football

Thanks, didn't think of that. Probably just peanuts anyway.
