I sure I read somewhere that zac clough despised us..I think it was a Bolton forum. .would be a good signing but don't see it happening myself

Would love pilks to join him and Bennett on the wings with Conway and Marshall cover. .We would have a stronger bench already

Bit harsh to bench Conway

I'm still on the fence, not sure he's what we need right now. If he is half the talent Bolton fans reckon he is then surely a Prem club would come in and take a chance? possibly loan him back or loan them another striker. Can you imagine if he did come to us, think it would be the final straw for them!

He's a professional footballer - so whichever team he purports to support (or despise) should be irrelevant, not that I would take any notice of a piggies forum anyway.

Only seen snippets of the lad on TV but he looks like he has something about him so here's hoping.

Well we know what happened at Barcelona recently, where player was signed, and 6 hours later his contract terminated lol. These days, as a pro, you have to be careful what you say, especially on social media

Should 100% be in for Clough. We need some creativity in the middle, forget his lack of physical presence the lad has genuine talent.

Paul Wheelock has mentioned on twitter that Rovers are looking at a playmaker but there's nothing concrete... Clough?

Prefer Alex Pritchard :tu:

I don't see why, Clough comes from Denton and, apparently, is a City fan.

Doesn't seem that way though. How come they have been here 5 bloody years and the squad has got weaker and weaker every year?

Because Venkys were always happy to shell out but nobody asked them?

Absolutely

They slashed the wages, sacked the backroom staff, put players like Salgado etc out to pasture and got rid of any quality we had in the squad.

Let's not dress it up any other way, but we've moved on 47er, haven't we?

Haha I am not worried about the CB for the only reason that Spurr, Akpan, and Lennihan can all play there and have shown that they are more than capable of playing in that position.

Personally I don't care if we had 24 players that were 'capable of playing in that position' I would never accept only 2 recognised CB's at the club. If both are missing for any reason then you are forced to start matches with no recognised CB's, that is suicide. 3 is the absolute minimum

Jacks of all trades, masters of none is large reason as to why we are in the position we are without more than 1 decent player on the books

Please lord let this be true. Clough is class!

He looked like little Eddie Munster - I'd buy him for that reason alone.

Bolton fans furious Clough is being priced at 750k. Calling Birmingham a disgrace and vultures amongst other things. Step forward, Blackburn Rovers.

Personally I would make a sneaky loan bid for Ryan Gauld, not getting a game for Sporting and they might want to send him out so as to not waste the £3m they paid for him. Being Scottish and going abroad like Lambert did might even be perfect for him to take from it.

Brum have cash on the hip though having just sold Gray for £3m+

Long story but I have watched a lot of Clough. I will be extremely surprised if a Prem club doesn't take him as he is quite honestly immense with the potential to be a top top PL player.

So yeah, if we get him for anything under a million I will be delighted!

Not sure how legal this is, but if I was in office at Ewood I'd be ringing the chief exec at Birmingham and explaining we are matching their bid, we can either go into a bidding war or both agree not to pay more than the 750k and let the player decide.

Bolton have administrator's in with the task of selling assets, they don't care what the potential value is, they need money quick.

Boltons Mark Davies is a good player.

Aldo Clough and Pratley. Would improve.

Cant see any others improve us at Bolton

Its a good time snapping theirs players

Dont think clough Will go to brum

Potchettino will give him a chance when he returns to fitness, i think this has been mentioned in the press. He has a good record of bringing through English talent so very much doubt he'll let him go out on loan... No harm in asking though.

Not usually a great source of information but this article is suggesting that wages are a problem with Graham. Surely just regurgitating what Nixon has already said...

From Nicko on Twitter; Bolton. Interesting new bidder around. London based. But foreign cash. And with Prem experience. Want a quick answer.

Wigan about to sign Wildscut from Boro, Crooks and Windass about to go to Rangers for 400k... Missing out on some low risk talent there.

He will have changed his mind when he saw what talent we had when we rocked up at their place last week. It would be any strikers dream to play in front of our midfield getting chance after chance.
