The whole team looked quite lively and sharp especially Rhodes, he even brought down a long ball and got a shot off. That was before the real comfort zone set in under GB though I suppose.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you are pointing out Mani. I'm of the belief that we just about bought ourselves out of the embargo so that we can pay wages above 10k per week and until the revision of the new rules in the summer, without selling players (which I thought was a possibility) we can't buy big in Jan.

That's what I can't understand people can't grasp. Shaw has said that's the case, the manager has said that's the case, basic maths says that's the case and the rules say that's the case - but still some fans think there's a massive conspiracy.

On Mcgeady being 'reluctant' to move to a championship club... I highly doubt any Prem clubs will move for him. Wouldn't be surprised if Celtic came in though.

Any links to seeing the back of Kiota or Brown as part of the corrective surgery needed to giving the first team a remote chance of scoring more goals and winning more games ?

how would selling those to improve our chances of scoring more & winning, have you always been so cynical, most fans would be asking if there's been any links to us signing another striker to improve our chances of goals&wins.

Desperately need a centre midfielder who can put his foot on the ball, look up and start picking a pass. Too many times midfield are giving the ball to the centre half or full back and running away from him, giving them no option but to try a long ball.

Just saying Abbey, because a Nolan or Scott Parker could be useful with their experience to the end of the season.

Heard a bit from Dunny on the radio on the way home and after watching the game he was questioning the 442. Also said we need to sign some Men and real leaders as there is non out there, he should know. Also said the type of balls needed to get the best out of Rhodes are not what's on offer.

He did say he'd play again for free. If he was serious I'd be on the phone.
