Sign him up. Him, a proven CM with leadership and can pick a quality pass, and Lenihan, a promising up and coming youngster, who has all the signs of a promising career, could be a decent CM pairing, with Evans or Akpan coming on when Dunny's legs give way

Heard a bit from Dunny on the radio on the way home and after watching the game he was questioning the 442. Also said we need to sign some Men and real leaders as there is non out there, he should know. Also said the type of balls needed to get the best out of Rhodes are not what's on offer.

He did say he'd play again for free. If he was serious I'd be on the phone.

It crossed my mind that he would turn up for free. If he's serious, give him a call. The last time I saw decent forward passing, effort and drive was him against Ipswich last season. We are REALLY clueless, gutless, leaderless and generally poo, he would improve us - even if he was only a 25min sub.

Paul dickov was at the match. I commented to my husband that it was a pity, even at his age, that we couldn't bring him on

Such a shame we don't have anyone of his ilk to support Brown upfront ;)

Patience lads

Some bad eggs and Bowyers boys fed up with the tougher Lambert

Lambert needs squad overhaul

Simeon and Elliott will push the others

Game on monday massive confident wise.

As for transfers .. Just wait

I hope your confidence in transfers is well founded. To date PL has talked about getting tough, streetwise players in - then recruited 2 lightweights who appear to offer absolutely no improvement on what we have (except they buy into Lamberts ideas). We need an impact and quick.

He said we need a streetfighter up front.

Heard weve enquired about a striker called Nils Petersen as the 'street fighter'. Loan to buy, plays in the German league and his club (don't know who, on mobile) want around 3m Euro.

we need to sign a quality target man with experience of this league asap.

plus a goalscorer centre midfielder like Jordan Mutch from Palace

I agree we need a goalscoring midfielder, but what makes you suggest mutch?Although a decent player he is not a goalscoring midfielder,16 career goals

Seriously? The 2012 Champions League finalist?

He didn't actually play but was at Munich, then Bremen and now Freiburg. At least it's a player I've heard of for a change!

Just looked him up, plays for Freiburg, can't see him wanting to come to a lower championship club, even if we could afford him in the summer.

FYI Freiburg are second division in Germany. It's possible :)

Reckons he is out about 5k a week and we've told him we can give him 15. Told his club we will double his wage as a loan fee.
