m1st Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 There could be some uncompromising defending if toddy has anything to do with it. From the home team, that is!

only2garners Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Is the commentary going to be in Welsh (On S4C)? Bloody hope not. Well there's a fair chance as it's a welsh language station. Oh dear, another 420 mile round drive for a roast beef dinner looms Never mind PB - I'll join you if needs be.
AlanK Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 That hurricane in the Atlantic is messing with the jet stream. Rain forecast all day Monday now!
donnermeat Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Well there's a fair chance as it's a welsh language station. I didn't know whether it was or not, as I'd never heard of it - which is why I asked.
Mike Graham Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Well there's a fair chance as it's a welsh language station. Never mind PB - I'll join you if needs be. Do you want a lift?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Caught the tail end of an article on the radio about a village in South Wales that was very near to breaking the regarding the number of consecutive days of rain. It was about 80 days if I heard it right.
Presty On Tour Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Well we're going again thanks to swapping a few shifts in work. Seen the forecast and it's not heavy rain like last Saturday. I think it will be dry or at worst the occasional few showers or drizzle. Seeing Rodney Parade on BT Sports tonight and the pitch looks good. It's also sunny tomorrow with the temp rising throughout the week.
Claytons Left Boot Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Caught the tail end of an article on the radio about a village in South Wales that was very near to breaking the regarding the number of consecutive days of rain. It was about 80 days if I heard it right. Darwen usually does 355 each year followed by 10 days of snow.
Ewood Spark Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Regarding the possibility of rain on Monday evening, if anybody had a ticket for the open end you could swap it for a seat in the covered end. That is what I have done.
only2garners Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Do you want a lift? No. We are coming down or see family and friends in Bristol for a couple of days. Couldn't make it last week so this has worked out for me.
Mike Graham Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 No. We are coming down or see family and friends in Bristol for a couple of days. Couldn't make it last week so this has worked out for me. Enjoy Bristol, hopefully see you at the game.
DanielMB Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 My team would be Raya, Henley, Wharton, Hanley, Olsson, Bennett, Akpan, Lenihan, Lawrence, Rhodes, Jackson
sambo Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I live in Cardiff and might scrap it. By Monday it might be too late to get refunds though! Hope we have a much changed team.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 No doubt about it, they'll fancy their chances and rightly so. A goal for us would be nice.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 16, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 16, 2016 We'll get done over, of that I have no doubt :-(
tomphil Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Going to get turned over in this i feel unless the squad players really step up to the plate. The team is showing real signs of lacking in confidence and it's looking like we can't buy a win against anyone. Can't see us getting past Oxford anyway, Appleton will have them stoked for that one.
1arC Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 We'll get done over, of that I have no doubt :-( Nothing more certain. A lower league team, who will be bang up for it, against a team who appear to be either rebelling against the new manager, or are just useless and haven't got a clue were the goal is. My only advice to anyone is Newport are 4/1 and if you want to soften the blow, lump on quick.
Husky Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 This isn't The League Cup FFS! Wales 0-2 England
Mike Graham Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Our last chance of a win this season perhaps? ;-)
AggyBlue Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Our last chance of a win this season perhaps? ;-) We should be able to match Newport in ability so we have a chance
arbitro Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 We should be able to match Newport in ability so we have a chance I don't think it will be about ability at Newport. It will be more about matching their endeavour, winning personal battles and putting in a proper professional performance. And that is my real worry. We have had too many jellyfish and slope shoulders in recent weeks.
The_Expert Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 This has Scunthorpe written all over it - we will have to be Shorpe if we are not to end up looking like a bunch of Scunthorpes. Another embarrassing loss - 2-0
chaddyrovers Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I really dont know what team Lambert will put out tbh. Will he play a couple of youngesters like Wharton(alongside Hanley) or Mansall? Or play a full strength side out?
Cherry Blue Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I really dont know what team Lambert will put out tbh. Will he play a couple of youngesters like Wharton(alongside Hanley) or Mansall? Or play a full strength side out? After yesterday's let down I'd go for playing those who want to win the shirt. We've a few talented lads coming through so give them the chance
ABBEY Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 i would have the first team in at 5am this morning and running in the snow up the tower.Any no shows or no want its ,id just sack them on the spot .
