JBiz Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 A huge, huge match. IMV, we have to win tonight for the future of our club - it's that simple. The consequences of a loss tonight and a loss on Saturday at Charlton are unthinkable. We have to respond tonight or the worry will just grow and grow. You know you're getting old the more you agree with MM.. Hopefully we can use the FA cup to kick start our confidence. Performance isn't necessary, just the result please!
AggyBlue Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Just got through the M5 snarl up. On the ground and the pitch is free of water
Amo Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 ROVERS: Steele, Marshall, Hanley ©, Lenihan, Spurr, Akpan, Williamson, Evans, Taylor, Lawrence, Brown. Subs: Raya, Henley, Rhodes, Olsson, Bennett, Conway.
JWUpper Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 ROVERS: Steele, Marshall, Hanley ©, Lenihan, Spurr, Akpan, Williamson, Evans, Taylor, Lawrence, Brown.
Backroom Mike E Posted January 18, 2016 Backroom Posted January 18, 2016 433 or 451. Interesting and dull all at once, I feel :/
G Somerset Rover Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 God knows what formation that's going to be. 4-3-2-1 maybe? I would say he's gone for a team of battlers but then Lawrence is starting. Very, very poor 11 though. We urgently need some new blood.
Amo Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Olsson must be on the way out if he can't get a start at Newport. Not sure on the formation? 4-5-1?
Backroom Tom Posted January 18, 2016 Backroom Posted January 18, 2016 Why the heck have we only named 6 subs? Brown up top alone with 3 in midfield Edit - Kilgallon ill - why are we travelling with the bare minimum didn't we encounter this earlier in season as well?
Amo Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Surprised that Tomlinson wasn't included since he didn't feature for the U21s.
Spalding Rover Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Why the heck have we only named 6 subs? Brown up top alone with 3 in midfield Edit - Kilgallon ill - why are we travelling with the bare minimum didn't we encounter this earlier in season as well? should think he's to embarrassed to show his face after saturday
Mercer Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Rhodes dropped or left out pending a move ? Hmmm. You would think this match would be an ideal opportunity for him to rediscover his goal knack.
perthblue02 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Some phrases to listen out for tonight donkey = asyn or fulod Cup Upset = cwpan cynhyrfu pass back = pasio yn ôl could not hit a cows arse with a banjo = Ni allai daro ass buwch gyda banjo all in jest , going for a Rovers 3-2 win
Tardyrover Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Rhodes dropped because he's out of form? Surely?
1arC Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 If I were you I would Lump on Newport. They are 4/1 and a £50 bet on them, may ease the pain a little as we won't win this. I hope like hell I am wrong, but my £50 is on, which I hope to lose. Look, it's what I believe will happen. Got Rovers' win at 5/6 and 4-1 at 40/1.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Looks like he's picked all of the battlers at the club that are available for selection. He obviously realises we're going to have to roll up our sleeves up for this one.
Spankus Munky Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Umm is Williamson Injured? as Bennett seem like he's starting on the TV
Iceman Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Some phrases to listen out for tonight donkey = asyn or fulod Cup Upset = cwpan cynhyrfu pass back = pasio yn ôl could not hit a cows arse with a banjo = Ni allai daro ass buwch gyda banjo all in jest , going for a Rovers 3-2 win What is "mistake in defence"
McClarky Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 What a bizarre team. Evans, Taylor, Brown up front. Plenty of people to contest the centre midfield against this 4th division side. Not much out wide though. Suspect we'll struggle through 1-0.
Backroom Tom Posted January 18, 2016 Backroom Posted January 18, 2016 A fe fe fe a fe fe fe Chris Waddle
