roverstdt Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 If Lambert won't start Bennett then I would go with: ---------Steele------- Henley(Played well against Hoilett last time)--Hanley--Duffy---Olsson Marshall------Evans----Lennihan----Conway ----------------Lawrence------------- ---------------Rhodes-------------- For me some players haven't performed so some other players need to be given a go to prove themselves. Give Lennihan a shout.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 That's the issue at the moment. You can play like a bag of @#/? week in week out and you still get a game no problem !
tkturner Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Looking forward to being back on Ewood later on, seems like ages since I was last there with the Christmas Boro postponement etc going on... Wonder what state the pitch will be in? It has been pretty rainy since that game was called off so guess the ground staff would would have had a fair job on throughout recent days? Kick off 2016 with a decent performance and 3 points? lets hope so... 3-1
Mike Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Met a couple of QPR fans on the train up from London this afternoon and offered them a lift to Blackburn. They were staggered at how nice and outgoing we Northerners are.
Backroom Mike E Posted January 12, 2016 Backroom Posted January 12, 2016 Met a couple of QPR fans on the train up from London this afternoon and offered them a lift to Blackburn. They were staggered at how nice and outgoing we Northerners are. No surprise there! Good on ya.
Mike Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 She was nice but I was unable to separate her from her husband ;-)
ABBEY Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 She was nice but I was unable to separate her from her husband ;-)Did you do em both then ?
1arC Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Did you do em both then ? That reminds me of a joke. Two pals were talking in the pub about their love life. One of them says, I am seeing some twins at the moment. His mate says that amazing, but how do you tell the difference. He says Melanie has lovely blonde long hair................ Steve has a beard!
bluefred Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Just hoping for a win tonight a scrappy 1-0. will do fine we need to stop this run .
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Cant see us getting anything tonight except cold! Expecting a miserable defeat. No doubt Toilet will score 0-2. It's a licence to print money Merce!
Amo Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I'd be surprised if Bennett doesn't start. The last few performances have been unacceptable and Lambert has spoken ominously about knowing what everyone's about now. It's not like Bennett is lacking in match fitness or anything, either.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 We need to win tonight for all concerned. 1-0 12,300
Mike Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Yes Elliot must play a major part tonight. Most of the rest are not enough. Official gate: 12,250 Real gate: 8,600 3-0 with an Gordon Bennett hat trick.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 ROVERS: Steele, Marshall, Duffy, Hanley ©, Spurr, Bennett, Evans, Akpan, Conway, Lawrence, Rhodes. Subs: Raya (GK), Henley, Brown, Olsson, Williamson, Taylor, Lenihan. Olsson on the naughty step. That bench, again. Jesus.
Mike Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 That is what I hoped for with both Lawrence and Bennett starting. About time Koita was dropped.
Amo Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Olsson on his way ? Quite possibly, or he threw his toys out of the pram because we rebuffed Derby. Either way, it doesn't look good. And yeah, that bench is sorry sight. Lambert really has his hands full rebuilding in the summer.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The strength of your bench is critical in modern football. You need a couple of game changers on there.
ABBEY Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Never seen do few people /cars etc around ewood for a first team match
Mike Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 It is absolutely dead. Hardly a car on Livesey Branch Rd. Out lowest league gate for many years tonight 😞 Olson by the way refused to get off the team bus at Cardiff. The coach driver had to move off to park up with him in it
yorkblue Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 More people on the pith than in the stands at the moment . 20 mins to kick off!!! That's pitch.... And I haven't been on the pith!
ABBEY Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Music is like a chuffing rave !!! Get this @#/? off
