Mike Graham Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 That was enough to turn anyone to drink. Sadly still keeping to my Dry January.
ABBEY Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I highly doubt we will score from open play.. This is diabolic.. Worst I've seen us as a team in yearsReally ?
Claytons Left Boot Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 No one wants to fight this..show some @#/? passion Charlton next right the team that's lost 5 and now 6 nil... Putting a tenner on Charlton 1-0 I would make it £1000 if I were you.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 4 hour train journey home after that. Should be fun. Only players who came out of that with any credit whatsoever are Hanley and Brown. The rest of 'em need to take a bloody long hard look in the mirror. Kilgallon the pick of the sh!te with Rhodes, Bennett, Spurr and Conway running him close. No pace, no creativity, no plan. Shocking.
AllRoverAsia Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 That was enough to turn anyone to drink. Sadly still keeping to my Dry January. Dont worry - my hangover is going to be monumental. Just off to the 7 11 for another 6-pack Is everyone calm? be-calmed
Cherry Blue Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 As was the case long before today we lack quality and commitment. Brown did what he could and was MOTM. For long spells we played the ball from right to left and from left to right. You could almost hear them say "here's the ball over to you now". No one had the will, or quality, to be adventurous. Bennett did nothing and Jackson wasn't on long enough. We need someone out there to encourage and not allow heads to drop. Marshall should try to lead and keep his eye on the ball instead he often looks a lone figure. Disappointing result because apart from the goal Brighton didn't do much in front of goal and Rhodes could have scored at least two. Well done to Rovers fans who turned up........we don't deserve this. The team v Newport will have a chance to show PL what he's missing.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 16, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 16, 2016 Is everyone calm? No. But go on...
Backroom Tom Posted January 16, 2016 Backroom Posted January 16, 2016 Is everyone calm? You expecting a storm?

Darwen Rover 007 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Everyone keeps going on about the quality of our players?? Ok well this is pretty much the same lot of players that have had us mid table... I'm very worried that we have got significantly worse under lambert a good manager makes the most of what he has... This is certainly not happening right now... I hope we eventually see the lambert from Norwich / Wycombe and not the one from Villa! For me he has to do something significantly different by the end of the month I.e. Purchases / loans or performance if not then I'm really worried
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Well that was dreadful. At least the first half was. I couldn't bring myself to watch the second half. Fair play to those who pay to see that. We're far too static in the opposition half and have been that way for as long as I can remember. Thought we were missing Rochina today. I'm joking, but we did need someone in that number 10 role. Brown did alright but hes obviously not that type of player. The commentator mentioned how quicker Brighton were going forward than us but I'd imagine every team in England is as well. Doesn't take a genius to work out how easy that is to defend against. Desperately lacking pace and some decent players with the right attitude. Lambert needs to sort it out soon or we're going to be dragged into a relegation scrap. The teams down the bottom will be loving our results at the moment and rightly so.
Tallrover Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 If we were getting beat but playing ok and you thought it's just a matter of time then have patience. But, we are terrible up front, no midfield and comical at the back. Tactics are non existent and ridiculous as it seems questions should be asked of PL already. Sacking is not the answer but the manger always gets the chop before the players. PL must change his tactics to suit the current players before he has two sackings on his CV.
AdamRochina Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Really ? I've supported for around 15 years.. Since I was 10.. So I haven't seen the years before souness and hughes ect..I've been spoilt
davulsukur Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Fed up of feeling fed up about Rovers. Just fecking sort it out FFS! Felt like that since Kean was here. I find it gets worse when you see someone like Hull just annihilate someone and then you try and remember the last time Rovers did that. Then the cycle continues.....
ABBEY Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Is everyone calm?Stupidest post of 2016 so far? Yes I'm calm and sniffing flowers wandering gayly spreading love Everyone keeps going on about the quality of our players?? JBiz Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I might get hammered for this, but I genuinely thought we played alright. Where's my hammer? That was terrible.
Amo Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Everyone keeps going on about the quality of our players?? Ok well this is pretty much the same lot of players that have had us mid table... Less 6 assists from Cairney, and 20 goals from Rudy.
ABBEY Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I've supported for around 15 years.. Since I was 10.. So I haven't seen the years before souness and hughes ect..I've been spoiltSo that was worse than Doncaster away?

I find it gets worse when you see someone like Hull just annihilate someone and then you try and remember the last time Rovers did that. Then the cycle continues..... I know, I can't honestly remember. I wouldn't usually be so impassioned. I guess I'm just really disappointed after the few near misses, then I thought Lambert would have done better overall then he has after a promising start.
RevidgeBlue Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Way too much being made of Brown's performance. Yes he was one of the better ones today but he is on there to score goals and test the opposition keeper. How many chances did he create for himself or get on the end of? None. After a brief flurry when PL arrived and other players chipped in a couple we're seemingly back to square one again. Rhodes doesn't score then we don't either.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 When you look at the bigger picture we all knew this was coming.Five years of total mismanagement as the stock of the club fell through the floor and you wonder why the side is this poor...players signed of the low calibre of Bennett? Lambert can't make a silk Purse out of a Pigs ear.
