4 hour train journey home after that. Should be fun.

Only players who came out of that with any credit whatsoever are Hanley and Brown. The rest of 'em need to take a bloody long hard look in the mirror. Kilgallon the pick of the sh!te with Rhodes, Bennett, Spurr and Conway running him close.

No pace, no creativity, no plan. Shocking.

As was the case long before today we lack quality and commitment. Brown did what he could and was MOTM. For long spells we played the ball from right to left and from left to right. You could almost hear them say "here's the ball over to you now". No one had the will, or quality, to be adventurous.

Bennett did nothing and Jackson wasn't on long enough. We need someone out there to encourage and not allow heads to drop. Marshall should try to lead and keep his eye on the ball instead he often looks a lone figure.

Disappointing result because apart from the goal Brighton didn't do much in front of goal and Rhodes could have scored at least two. Well done to Rovers fans who turned up........we don't deserve this.

The team v Newport will have a chance to show PL what he's missing.

Great respect GSR - there's always the next game! That's who we are.

Everyone keeps going on about the quality of our players?? Ok well this is pretty much the same lot of players that have had us mid table...

I'm very worried that we have got significantly worse under lambert a good manager makes the most of what he has... This is certainly not happening right now...

I hope we eventually see the lambert from Norwich / Wycombe and not the one from Villa!

For me he has to do something significantly different by the end of the month I.e. Purchases / loans or performance if not then I'm really worried

Well that was dreadful. At least the first half was. I couldn't bring myself to watch the second half. Fair play to those who pay to see that.

We're far too static in the opposition half and have been that way for as long as I can remember.

Thought we were missing Rochina today.

I'm joking, but we did need someone in that number 10 role. Brown did alright but hes obviously not that type of player.

The commentator mentioned how quicker Brighton were going forward than us but I'd imagine every team in England is as well. Doesn't take a genius to work out how easy that is to defend against.

Desperately lacking pace and some decent players with the right attitude. Lambert needs to sort it out soon or we're going to be dragged into a relegation scrap.

The teams down the bottom will be loving our results at the moment and rightly so.

If we were getting beat but playing ok and you thought it's just a matter of time then have patience. But, we are terrible up front, no midfield and comical at the back. Tactics are non existent and ridiculous as it seems questions should be asked of PL already.

Sacking is not the answer but the manger always gets the chop before the players. PL must change his tactics to suit the current players before he has two sackings on his CV.

Fed up of feeling fed up about Rovers. Just fecking sort it out FFS!

Felt like that since Kean was here.

I find it gets worse when you see someone like Hull just annihilate someone and then you try and remember the last time Rovers did that.

Then the cycle continues.....

I know, I can't honestly remember. I wouldn't usually be so impassioned. I guess I'm just really disappointed after the few near misses, then I thought Lambert would have done better overall then he has after a promising start.

Way too much being made of Brown's performance. Yes he was one of the better ones today but he is on there to score goals and test the opposition keeper. How many chances did he create for himself or get on the end of? None.

After a brief flurry when PL arrived and other players chipped in a couple we're seemingly back to square one again. Rhodes doesn't score then we don't either.
